Good location

I was told my parents would be upgraded to a larger room but when we got there they had been downgraded to a smaller room. I was told by Brendon that the larger room was level 5 with stairs so better for elderly to go lower ground. We found out there was no level 5. He promised me it was the same size room. But it was tiny and they've since asked never to stay there again. Not having any space for your suitcase in your room is very dangerous for elderly to trip over too. I would have been happy to pay the extra $30 to have a larger room but we were basically lied to. I was told the extra night I paid, which I suspect was for the larger room we were supposed to be in, was for a standard but when I searched online I got charged the same amount as the King.

Very comfortable hotel that was a short walk from Kings Cross Station. Perfectly situated for seeing shows at the Hayes Theatre. Close to a great selection of cafe and food choices in Potts Point.

At 183cm tall, the shower head in the bathroom was level with my chest. I knew the bathrooms were small from reading the reviews, so I was prepared for it, Can get a little noisy, both from outside (my room was right at the end of the building so overlooked another street) and guests inside (a large group who liked to chat in the halls rather than their rooms) - but nothing bad enough that I felt the need to tell anyone

Musty smell in the room , not all that unpleasant and could have been due to the huge amount of rain we’ve had recently. Towels not snowy white but clean all the same

Location is great to trains and St Vincent’s hospital. Rooms were clean.

We stay here quite a bit. Mattress starting to wear and shower head needed a lot of adjust - needs to be checked. We were in room 217.

Small room and bathroom but very adequate

Beautiful old building on a gorgeous street, really central and close to the train station and bus stops. The room was completely comfortable.

Personally the area was a little busy in the evenings but that might be ideal for others!

The location

I didn't like the property because it appeared to be quite run down. The carpets were old, there were issues with cockroaches in the rooms, and there was a persistent musky smell. Additionally, the bathroom was in need of renovation, which detracted from the overall appeal of the property.

Not 100 % clean … around bedhead, window frame in bathroom, corners of bathroom shower frame. Geel they need one cleaner who just does the edges!

The property was in a convenient location.

The bathroom needs better drainage and ventilation and a better shower head would be helpful.

Location - Close to public transport and there are a lot of shops and cafes that are easily walkable. Room - Spacious and comfy Bathroom - A bit on the smaller size in proportion to the room I stayed in, I was expecting it to be a bit bigger

The hotel was very clean and calm. Very nice staff. The room was not huge but with everything necessary. We had a perfect lovely stay. 15/20 min away by walk fron the Botanic Garden.

the staff were lovely. clean and neat and perfect location close to everything . modern beautiful lounge area quiet even though it’s in the heart of kings cross. comfy bed!

the room was very very small - you could barely fit in the bathroom and the shower isn’t well designed so water floods out from the shower.

The king-size bed was amazingly comfortable. The room itself was well laid out with appealing decor. The location was brilliant for someone visiting Sydney from interstate. The staff were absolutely lovely, regardless of who was on duty.

The very cramped bathroom-toilet was a real issue, especially the lack of legroom in front of the toilet. Given the lack of food prep facilities in the room, the hotel needs to provide a communal food-prep and eating area/room. Sorry, but I need to say this: there is a serious rat problem at street level at the rear of the hotel which needs immediate and probably ongoing attention. The price quoted on booking.com was not the whole price inclusive of GST and other charges, meaning that I was required to pay approximately 11 or 12 percent more than I was expecting when checking in.

The guy who checked us in was very helpful and gave us the use of a room to shower and freshen up after we'd checked out on our final day, much appreciated before a long haul flight

The bathroom was extremely cramped, if you are taller or larger than average you would struggle to sit straight on the toilet! Shower didn't drain well and flooded the floor. We weren't expecting a restaurant but thought there might be somewhere to buy a coffee or breakfast, this wasn't the case although it could be this area was under renovation while we were staying, and with so many options for breakfast in the area not really a problem
