The staffs were exceptionally accommodating and friendly especially Paula and Jaou

The rooms were small compared to the price ..the housekeeping was ok but they were not changing the water nor the used cups daily. There was a huge crack in the room and the light was not lit as well.

I loved everything

Quarto espaçoso, cama e travesseiro muito confortáveis. Ótimo café da manhã, funcionários gentis. Wi-Fi funcionava bem ao longo de todo o hotel. Corredores aconchegantes, salas muito bonitas e bem decoradas. Boa acessibilidade para crianças e carrinhos (elevador, rampas), berço no quarto de boa qualidade. Fica em uma rua calma e de fácil acesso.

É um pouco distante do centro (pouco mais de 20 minutos), apesar de muito perto de Belém. Tive um problema grande com a lavanderia (que disse que ia deixar um vestido pronto em uma data e depois no mesmo dia negou, me deixando em uma situação complicada, pois tinha um casamento) e tive que insistir com a recepção para ter uma solução. Felizmente, depois que a diretora de relacionamento se envolveu, o caso foi prontamente resolvido.

Experiência incrível!!! Vc realmente se sente no início do século XX. O café da manhã é super diversificado, os funcionários todos muito solícitos, educados e prontos para servir. Tem uma capela maravilhosa e tivemos a graça de assistir a Santa Missa no primeiro dia do ano, em latim, com canto gregoriano. Uma experiência que ficou marcada na alma. Os quartos são um pouco distantes o que pra mim foi uma grande oportunidade de passear pelos jardins e ter a sensação de que aquele lugar mesmo por poucos dias foi mesmo a nossa casa. As funcionárias arrumavam nossa cama todas as noites com tapete e chinelo beira leito. Um cuidado que poucos lugares oferecem.

A localização que faz necessário acesso de carro. É longe do centro mas se vc quer descansar esse não vai ser um problema. Dá pra ficar o dia todo no hotel sem lembrar que existe mundo la fora.

The hotel and grounds are absolutely gorgeous, but highlight is the incredible staff - warm, welcoming, friendly and always helpful. Breakfast outdoors on the terrace is also fantastic.

The building and garden are beautiful as it was a palace. While the facility seems a bit outdated, it keeps the nice atmosphere and feels like going back in time so it doesn't bother us at all. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

It is good they keep the palace kind of as is so we can see how it was. However, the room facility is a bit outdated. For example, the hairdryer is an old one fixed on the wall which I have not seen for a long time. The breakfast buffet was just ok with good variety to choose from but quality and taste do not live up to the standard. Location wise, there wasn't much around it.

Very inconsistent service. Long waits for items at breakfast. Poor housekeeping-they didn’t leave any coffee, cups or water one day. Another day they didn’t leave any bath towels. Main issue is the lack of sound insulation between the rooms. Very noisy. We lost all of four nights sleep. Also bar around corner seems to have live music at weekends-until 3.00! Rooms and corridors are tired. Worth avoiding!

An amazing hotel in beautiful gardens, with paths down to the Aviary and pool/spa. Sumptuous, elegant rooms to relax in and a delicious breakfast too. We were able to eat outside when we visited early April.

The breakfast is excellent, the pools are both great, the garden is beautiful. Combining this dreamily elaborate traditional palace with modern comfort in great taste, this is an oasis in the city I'd never want to leave
