The location is the only thing that is good about this hotel.
The hotel is undergoing construction for improvements. At no point during the booking.com process was this communicated. In addition, the hotel didn't bother to tell me this either. I was woken up on two occasions by loud drilling and banging from the contstruction at 8am. The room that I got was rubbish, it had a dated bathroom, the TV was on the side wall which meant you couldn't even watch it from the bed. The shower was barely functioning. The breakfast area was overcrowded and the staff uninterested in helping to get cutlery. This is advertised as a 5 star hotel but make no mistake, this is nowhere near that. I checked out a night early and the hotel said any refunds should be done via Booking.com. Booking.com customer service are are so far not being helpful.

Excellent hotel, belle décoration; les chambres sont propres et très confortable. L'hotel est très bien situé, la vue de toute la ville de Dubai devant l'hotel. Le personnel, amazing...
La salle de bain reste à désirer; il n'y avait pas assez de pression en prenant la douche. Il faut penser moderniser complètement la salle de bain.

الغرف ليست نظيفة و التأخير فالخدمات مثلا خدمات المواقف تستغرق اكثر من 40 دقيقة اذا كنت بالحاجه الى سيارتك وليس يوجد لديهم العدد الكافي من الموظفين بالاضافة الى الاطلالة على متحف المستقبل فقط تنحصر على عدد بسيط من الغرف ليس الكل او على حسب اختيار الضيف وايضا يقولوا ان الاطلالة على متحف المستقبل ولكن للأسف الشديد يظهر جزء بسيط جدا من المتحفز

My review from crowne plaza and now millennium plaza downtown First there is a very unpleasant smell in the pillows I don't know if it's was in my room alone or in all rooms,I literally didn't like that smell...secondly there use to be bathrobes in cupboards but not there anymore...the home bar use to be full of drinks and chocolates but not there anymore...if look in to it....the hotel use to have a very nice smell I mean the air freshener was perfect from the reception till inside the rooms but nolonger there...

,Too old hotel, no renovations in the last 20 years, carpet is starched and smells, the non smoking room I requested was just a deodorized room, etc. Just changing the name from Crowne Plaza to Millenium didn't made the magic.
Newer facilities would had been a great plus.

Location is wonderful.
Breakfast was great. The staff at breakfast are very nice and accommodating. The selection of food at breakfast was very good with lots of verity.
Staff are slow at reception.
Other staff around the hotel are cold and look at you suspiciously. Even the valet parking staff. I had to wait for 10 minutes the next day before they bring my car from parking. No one seems to be happy working there. You hardly see any smiling faces.
The rooms are spacious but old dated in design and furniture.
TV is small (32") and don't have good selection of channels.

Awesome Breakfast. Everything was delicious and so fresh.Restaurant workers Especially Sarif & Nasim . I love their hospitality. Sarif take care us very well. Great Location.

staff was nice and location is excellent.
It was said it was a non smoking room but there was a strong smell of smoking inside. Even our clothes came back home smelling smoking (as we don't smoke - in fact my husband is allergic - the smell was very obvious to us even thought it was tried to mask it with lots of ambience sprays). We went for a desert tour and took a shower when we came back. The sand fro desert was still by the tub the day after (after they cleaned the room). Also, there was visible mold in the tiles and rust on the shower. The TV signal was absolutely terrible with not a single channel with clear image. Internet was sufferable. The air conditioning had a single setting and was very loud.

There was no Mini Bar at room. Just an empty fridge!, no tooth brush or toothpaste

A good room was provided with Sheikh Zayed road view also a slide view of Dubai Future Museum. The bed was Comfy, tea, and coffee were provided. The good thing was that the water bottles were provided upon all requests. A complimentary delicious chocolate cake was arranged in the room as we checked in to celebrate my wife's birthday. Thanks to Kathline (Bloom), in-room dining and chef. Kathline was so helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good with a selection of varieties. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
The parking was outdoor and there was no valet parking service provided. We experienced a considerable delay in room service (HK). We asked for bathroom cleaning at 7:30Pm and until 12:30am was not done. The bathroom was a bit outdated and no telephone shower.

Everything was great! I’ve got a diplomat suite room, staff was amazing, they did everything for the comfort stay, it was clean, everything worked properly. Yes, the hotel and rooms are a bit outdated. But price/quality is wonderful and affordable. I liked it very much. It’s also a bit crowded during the breakfast and sometimes not enough cups/spoons, but I think it’s not a problem when you go for breakfast earlier, not after 9.30 like I did 😀

I knew this hotel more than 25 years and the name was crown plaza ,very old hotel it doesn't value the amount paid and breakfast was crowded and very bad ,rooms are smelly if I know it is crown plaza I will not choose it at all and u must put the old name with new name please
