Lovely views. Loved the old fashion feel of the place. Breakfast was delicious . Comfortable bed.

We stayed in room 6, tv didn’t work, iron burn in the carpet, massive stain on the headboard and horrible stains on sides of the bed. Ring stains on all furniture.

The room s were a good size and very comfortable. Nice and clean

When we came out of our room, all you could smell was cooking, i.e., fatty frying smell. There were two weddings on on our first night, which whilst I knew it was a wedding venue 2 made it like trying to sleep in ibiza. Because of the wedding the breakfast on the first day was buffet and whilst ok it was a bit cold! On Sunday, there were 2 power cuts, which delayed us, and we were so looking forward to returning from the racer for a lovely Sunday dinner. No such luck. Whilst staff were nice in explaining, we were very disappointed. Having said that, was it a blessing in disguise because we ordered breakfast straight from the kitchen in the morning. The omelette was greasy, and my scrambled egg was like leather. For a family that hasn't been anywhere in years, we wanted a great weekend, and our activities were great, but the hotel experience was not

The staff were great, very helpful and courteous.

The breakfast was a little bit disjointed, in separate rooms, and not all items available. But on the whole good.

We loved the decor of the hotel, very comfortable and in keeping with the building. Our room was very clean with everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The cleaning lady was lovely!! We booked in to the restaurant and the food was spectacular! The gardens were well kept and we loved sitting outside watching the rabbits and squirrels! Breakfast was outstanding with plenty of choice!! Over all it was a wonderful stay for a relaxing weekend with my husband.

I have several dietary intolerances and the staff were amazing speaking with the chef to supply me with an amazing evening meal and scrumptious breakfast 👍
