Room smelt of urine when we arrived, not sure if it was the carpet and the shower was like standing under a watering can!

Had an amazing stay with my dog. Perfect location, 5min walk down to the town but enough away that it wasn't noisy. Breakfast was yummy, missed it once I got home. Bed was comfy, room was clean. Hosts are so nice, will definitely return on my next visit to Torquay. Also across the road from a lovely park, nice to have a walk in the morning with my pup.

It is situated on a prime location. Near to the town centre and on the bus route to Babbacombe and other towns.
The room was well equipped with a mini fridge, TV, kettle, tea, coffee etc. Plenty of cupboard space and a comfortable bed with a small table and two chairs. There are plenty of storage places like drawers. The bathroom was clean with basic amenities provided for.
We did not get an attached patio as was described. The bed lamps were not working (although it was a non-issue.) The bathroom door was a sliding one with a small gap which reduces a bit of privacy.

Excellent, short walk to harbour, bars and restaurants
Room not as clean as expected, skirting boards had a lot of dust. Sliding door to bathroom was very stiff so had to leave it open. Also, room got a little hot so opened window however, the room was right above the smoking area so the smell wasn’t nice when people out there.

Fantastic guest house comfortable bed very clean throughout..the garden is a beautiful place to sit ..the owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble..one of the best guest houses we’ve stayed in and I’ve stayed in quite a lot ..would highly recommend a stay in this one

Very friendly and welcoming, someone always on hand for any help or advice and nothing was too much trouble. Spotlessly clean, good location and great value for money. Highly recommended, I enjoyed my stay and I would certainly book here again.

Thank you Gordon and Carol for letting me stay at your lovely B&B. You had everything available that was needed for my weeks stay to make feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you for arranging a parking permit for me, that was a great help. I really enjoyed my stay.
The water pressure in the shower was very low and could not figure out how to adjust the temperature.

Warm welcome from Gordon. Come and go as you like, parking permit, hosts available if needed and lots of contact via email. Dog was welcome. Location was superb opposite a park, few minutes from bus stands with frequent services all along the coast and to Exeter and harbour for boats to Dartmouth and Brixham. Great places to eat around the harbour. Lots to see and do.

Loved the location as it was walking distance from the harbour. Also the gentleman who greeted us was very helpful and friendly.
The room was quite small but also the walls looked like they needed fresh paint.

The enviornment of the hotel plus the city centre was not far at all.
