Room very clean and comfortable, lovely garden. The lady there was really pleasant and couldn't do enough for you. Her breakfast was very good. The house is old-fashioned in decor but still really pleasant.Quiet location on a slight hill, would definitely stay there again.

Made to feel welcome from the time we arrived. Great location as we traveled by train. Lovely gardens, comfy beds, delicious breakfast and really comfortable and relaxing.

Beautiful hotel and grounds, spotlessly clean, very friendly and accommodating owner and staff, excellent room, beautifully decorated, very comfortable large bed. Lovely bathroom and delicious breakfast.

The property had beautiful gardens, a well maintained swimming pool and the hotel had lots of character. we stayed in the self contained flat at the back. it had everything we needed and a nice little seating area outside. With lovely views of woodland and a little old cottage. (The cleaners came in to change towels etc) The host was very friendly, happy and knowledgeable regarding the area. Nothing was to much trouble!

The location was perfect right on the seafront with everything we need at walkable distance. The property was very homely, our room had a lovely view of the seafront, the decor were all vintage vibes and well kept and Lisa was a very friendly host as well as all the staffs On our second day of stay our car battery ran out and one of the staff member had her husband help us out to bring the car back alive and we couldn't be more grateful. Very kind of them and very humbled.

Just wish the bathroom sink could be a little bigger as it was too tiny and had to literally bend over everytime we had to use it otherwise the water spilled all out. And the shower could be better too, need a lot of patience on the shower after a long day of sightseeing. And the breakfast time could be a little more then an hour which is 8-9am for holiday goers like us who like a little sleep-in 😝

Everything is wonderful in this amazing hotel.

We liked that the Hotel had many facilities for it`s Guests. from the swimming pool, the garden, lounge & conservatory. It was more homely to think we didnt have to spend all our time in our room, lovely as it was.

A lift would have been so appreciated after a long walk, but this would have spoilt a beautiful original building. We can`t have everyrthing!

The place smelt lovely! It all looked so clean and the furniture had that look of class. Breakfast nice too and the staff couldn't do enough. They are such a joyous lot!

Well, I didn't say anything whilst there. But I didn't sleep each night. There was a snoring buffalo in the room next to me which drove me crazy. What does one do? I had the radio on and the bathroom fan to try and drown it out. These things are no fault of the owners, but I wish these foghorn snorers could realise that their sleep is denying others sleep! It was just awful.
