Friendly staff

The room was described as 1 apartment on Bookings.com. It was not an apartment, but rather a hotel room. There are no laundry facilities on site unless of course you book a real apartment.

Staff member at the reception desk was brilliant. There was one the one staff member and she remained calm and helpful at all times. Sometimes she had 15 people all waiting and standing in line waiting to get into rooms. She did everything she could. You are very lucky to have her on board.

We could not get in until 3.30 pm. If you were to pay for cleaners an extra $5 per hour Im sure you would get enough cleaners and you would still be making a profit on your rooms. Everyone would be happy.

I messaged and called 3 times before my booking to triple check the code would be correct on check in. Out of hours check in as I was on a 2 am flight involves calling the number on the door and asking for a code. Last time I stayed code didn’t work. Same same, had to wait 15 min for someone to come and let me in with a key.

The location was perfect. The room was clean but VERY basic. The view was good.

2 cups 2 glasses 2 spoons. Bought takeaway and had to eat it with teaspoons. No restaurant on site.

It was a great location. Room was nice and clean. Didn't spend much time in the room

Charging for Car Park Two single beds joined together was the worst issue I can complain about. Would have preferred a room with a Ocean view.

The location was perfect for the places I needed to see! The staff were very friendly and helpful

Location on the Esplanade with view across the sea to the sunset. Easy access to city shops and restaurants and cafes.

The fact that the hotel airconditioning was set on 22 degrees and couldn't be changed. We came to Darwin for warm air but at least we could sit on the balcony and enjoy.

Bed was comfortable. The room was clean and tidy. Loved having a harbour side room. Very central and able to walk.

Not being told that the pool was being renovated. Would have loved to swim in the evening. Restaurant was closed. No name in the front of motel. Looked very tired.

Staff were very friendly, professional and helpful. Mantra is situated across from the water, and is walking distance to shops, restaurants and the city. Room was clean and quite .

Only thing is that you cannot cook in the room, as there is no microwave or anything available. You do get a fridge through, so drinks are kept cold.

Location and size were great, great to have a kitchen, living room, dining room and laundry in bathroom. We also loved having a balcony that faced the ocean.

The step in shower over the bath was a big problem for us. I found it slippery and unsafe to be stepping in and out of.
