La habitación tal cual a la foto. La ubicación a metros del subte. Estaba bien limpio.

Le déjeuner-buffet, sophistiqué et très complet dans une belle salle. La gentillesse de l'ensemble du personnel. La piscine, même si petite. La proximité du Cerro Santa-Lucia, qui offre un magnifique point de vue, en plus de présenter des sculptures MAPUCHE. Plusieurs parties de mur sont antiques. Le quartier historique (incluant la cathédrale) sont à distance de marche. À partir de l'hôtel en direction du quartier historique et de l'excellent musée d'archéologie, beaucoup de rues sont piétonnes, avec des spectacles de rue. La chambre, sans être extraordinairement luxueuse, était grande et très bien équipée, telle que décrite dans Booking.com, et sympathique tout en étant formelle. L'hôtel est bien conçu sur le plan architectural, avec tous les services.

Les gros ventilateurs près de la piscine, qui brisent un peu le charme du site de la piscine et du bar et de la vue du très joli Mont Santa Lucia avec ses palmiers. Je suis restée 4 fois en l'espace de 23 jours au Mercure, à chaque fois des séjours de 2 jours, entre divers déplacements. J'aurais trouvé sympa que le personnel du soir me reconnaisse à mes retours et me fasse sentir à la maison. Il y avait un problème avec le personnel du soir. Par ailleurs, il y a eu des manifestation 3 vendredis soirs de suite. Un vendredi soir, alors que je revenais d'Arica, des manifestants lançaient des pierres sur le rideau de fer de l'hôtel et faisaient brûler des choses dans les poubelles, après en avoir renversé le contenu sur le trottoir. Mon chauffeur de taxi m'a accompagnée avec ma valise jusqu'à l'entrée du stationnement au tournant de la rue, pour que je puisse rentrer au Mercure. À la réception, la tension était forte. J'ai quand même pu récupérer la valise que j'avais laissée à la consigne et recevoir la même chambre que la fois d'avant, au 15e. Ce fut apprécié.

The bar area is lovely. Great music and a relaxed atmosphere.

Only one lift working and took us 15 mins to get to the ground floor.

Breakfast was good. Ray (staff member) very kind.

It was noisy, not good after a long flight & no sleep for over 24 hours. Music was playing on the terrace under my room until 12.30am & the sound of people in the corridor - chatting, opening & closing heavy doors, moving luggage - was so loud it kept waking me up & keeping me awake. It isn't the hotel's fault, but my bag was pickpocketed nearby within an hour of me arriving. Thieves are there, waiting for you. A tired traveller is an easy target. It is very distressing.

Very well located hotel and with helpful and friendly staff.

The hotel was great and whilst centraly located on a very busy road, it was perhaps a little to busy and very noisy outside the hotel.

We liked the location and the staff were excellent. Thanks to German and Daniel in the restaurant. Especial thanks to Ray, Felix, Maggie and Catalina. They helped us deal with the problems that came from the horrible taxi driver who brought us from the airport. He claimed 2 of our credit cards were rejected but he took money from all 3! The cost was 25,000 Pesos and he took 995,000pesos from each card. Felix helped me with reporting it to the police. Thanks to the team for booking excursions and onward transport for us.

We had asked for the hotel to arrange a taxi from the airport but it wasn’t ordered.

A localização é muito boa! Fica bem no Centro/ coração da Cidade. Mas a entrada após às 22h ele fica com grade e bem fechado o que dá um ar de preocupação com relação a segurança de entrada e saída do hotel a noite.

Não gostei muito do atendimento de check in, talvez por ter sido de madrugada e o funcionário estivesse cansado. Não gostei do valor do café da manhã também pois paguei quase 500 reais para café da manhã para 4 pessoas e ele não foi bem servido, achei bem fraco para o valor.

Internally, the hotel seems quite nice and done up well. The staff seemed friendly. Checking in and out was easy and smooth.

Everything seems a bit small. This includes the breakfast food selection. We were also were given an iron board, which wasn't able to stand properly. But overall, can't complain.

Quarto super amplo, janela anti-ruído, ar condicionado super eficiente, internet ótima, chuveiro maravilhoso.

Não sabia que era tão no centro. Então quando você sai do hotel já cai direto no caos da cidade, com camelôs por toda parte. A noite fica um portão de ferro fechando o hotel e isso causa uma sensação ruim. Sei que é para a nossa segurança, mas quando vi o portão fiquei assutada.

L’emplacement est excellent, la chambre est grande et confortable, la literie est bonne, le petit déjeuner est très bien.

La piscine est petite et il y a peu de sièges. L’hôtel est situé sur une rue très passante au trottoir très large, les taxis ne peuvent pas vraiment s’approcher de l’entrée.

The personnel were very helpful and friendly. They were patient with our lack of Spanish language.

The hotel is centrally located and the rooms are spacious and mostly clean. Breakfast had a good variety especially compared to South of Chile.

The staff wasn't particularly polite, neither during check in nor during any other interaction. None of the outlets in my room worked during the first night and the kettle was broken. I went down to reception at 2.30 am. They were able to fix the electricity but did not provide a new kettle, just some hot water (as I insisted as I was sick and desperately needed hot tea). You would think they would proactively switch it the next day during housekeeping but they didn't. When they wanted me to pay for breakfast I asked if this could be a way to compensate me for last night but they said this is handled separately and there is nothing they can do. In the afternoon I called reception to get the kettle exchanged, they confirmed but after an hour I had to call again and check. Not the type of customer service I would expect. The shower was full of lime and the hot water took ages to kick in

The hotel is located at downtown Santiago so it is very central. There is a metro station next to the hotel; there are lots of restaurants nearby. You can find food through several apps almost every time. Felipe the barman at 5th floor works with energy and he was very kind with my family, my son, wife and pet. He is 10/10. Thanks a lot Felipe!! At 5th floor there are live music every Thursday and Friday. It is great with good sound and good dj and saxophones.

Some of the staff at reception could be nicer 😟 I payed $45 usd plus taxes for my pet night. It would have been nice to get something for her to sleep at the room like other hotels do including Accor ones. The mattress slide all the time from the beds so you can have an uncomfortable night.

Cafe da manhã com opções variadas, incluido para aqueles com restrições alimentares. Otima localização, proximo de pontos turisticos e a alguns passos do metro. Equipe atenciosa.

Para quem viaja com muita bagagem, como eu nesta ocasião, faltou um serviço de apoio para o movimento das malas dentro do hotel (da recepção ao quarto ou do quarto a garagem). Mesmo assim não abalou a estadia.

The place is well located in terms of attractions but it is in downtown Santiago which means that it can be a little rough. One has to be very careful with one's belongings. The hotel has good security so that was comforting. In terms of eating, there are lots of options nearby and local attractions are within walking distance.

This is out of control of the hotel but the neighborhood is very rundown. You will need to be vigilant about your belongings when walking around the streets.

El desayuno fue lo mas rico, pero muy muy muy poca variedad de pasteles y cosas dulces Solo 2 tipos.

Me dijeron que me darían una habitación con linda vista porque les dije que celebrabamos nuestro aniversario (con reserva de mas de un mes de anticipación) y el día de la llegada me encuentro con una pieza donde solo veía maderas y ventiladores 😔. Apelé en recepción para que cumplieran lo que me habían dicho y finalmente dijeron que no había nada mas pada ofrecernos... Siendo que mas de un mes que habíamos reservado. Por otro lado, la piscina en fotos se ve hermosa y gigante... Y en la realidad es una pequeña piscina, incluso más para niños. El valor no lo vale! Para nada.

La piscina, el desayuno estaba bueno, a unos pasos de la estación del metro.

Al llegar nos dieron una habitación que no correspondía a la que habíamos reservado, nos pusieron una cama adicional, la que era muy incomoda, la tercera noche nos pudieron dar la habitación solicitada.

O chuveiro é maravilhoso! A limpeza das acomodações, e o conforto das camas.

Faltou frigobar nos quartos, não podíamos comprar nada que necessitasse ficar na geladeira porque não tinha frigobar, nem mesmo água, tivemos que tomar quente!

Mein Zimmer im 16. Stock hatte einen fantastischen Blick über die Stadt und auf die Nationalbibliothek. Die Einrichtung war nicht luxuriös, aber alles Notwendige vorhanden, sehr sauber und hygienisch. Zwei breite Einzelbetten, sehr bequem. Das Personal, insbesondere Javiera Olivera am Reception Desk, waren von großer Hilfsbereitschaft, sprachen gutes Englisch und halfen mir in einer schwierigen Situation souverän weiter. Ich kann dieses Hotel in bester, zentraler Lage mit guten ÖPNV-Verbindungen, nur sehr empfehlen.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war etwas einseitig, es gab nicht viel Auswahl an Aufstrichen, warmen Speisen oder Säften. Auch das Restaurant im 2. Stock hatte nur eine kleine Speisekarte.

Room is clean, spacious and as advertised in the pictures. Mercure quality and solid. Bathroom amenities were missing a few things like a shower cap or bath mat towel, etc. - but liquid toiletries were okay and good quality. Breakfast was not exceptional but generally ok with few options beyond the basics, especially for the hot items. No microwave or heating options besides a toaster. Front desk attendants were very good as they also had to double as baggage handlers at times. Clever details like flavoured water at the check-in were not executed well with empty/dirty glasses left and no clean ones so poor execution there. An excellent new employee at the front desk (she started on the 20th, I think her name was Ingevort, but Im not sure!) was very helpful with concierge-type helpfulness.

Location was not such the plus that it should be given its geographic plusses - very close to Lastarria, Castelo Hidalgo, Palacio Moneda highlights and easy metro access. This is not really Mercure's fault as the immediate region in front of the hotel is clearly poor and run down with late-night food spots and street vendors and vagrants all over the front doorstep. There was a moment when a police blitz down O'Higgins (Oct 20) had the security staff close the front gated doors for a half hour until the road was "safe" out front. Uneasy place to catch a taxi or Uber after hours and the return trip means having to ask for entry to the Hotel later on, which doesn't inspire much confidence with its gated front door.

Very modern. Lovely restaurant- spacious and good menu. Felt very safe with the security guards on the door 24/7. Felix on reception was phenomenal. So so helpful which as a young solo female traveller was greatly appreciated. Please pass on my sincere thank you!
