This hotel is in such a beautiful location. You can eat breakfast with the view of the beach. There’s a lovely short walk to the cliffs to watch the sunset. The room was perfect size with great facilities and even provided a sewing kit (I didn’t even think I would need, I was wrong). Breakfast was delicious and staff were friendly and more than happy to help!
Only that there was a card scanner to get in the back but it didn’t work. Would’ve been easier when going back and forth with luggage rather than going round the front.

What was not to like?! The room was homely,spacious and spotless. The food was fresh and delicious. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The view? OMG the views were breathtaking

The price we paid was way above the hotel's own rate. When we raised this with management, we were told that this was because of Booking.com's charges and we should have booked with the hotel directly.
Our room was described as having a garden view, but instead it looked out on to a large paved area which housed a variety of junk.
The hotel was not full, and, given our dis-satisfaction with the price we were charged, it would have cost the hotel nothing to give us a room upgrade.

Nicely decorated rooms with v good facilities.
Breakfast was excellent with a range of pastries, fruit, yogurt and cooked options.
Perfect location.
Off road parking.
Garden area looks to be under construction and will be a fabulous addition when completed.
Teal and coffee in our room wasn't replaced each day, but I am sure that if we had wanted more then it would have been resolved if asked.

The hotel's team are friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the quiet location next to a beach and the hotel breakfast. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking to stay in the Newquay area.

We stayed in the Garden Suite which was a beautiful room with a lot of space. The set up was lovely.
It's in a great location with the beach right next to the hotel.
The food was amazing for breakfast and dinner.
We weren't told we had to book for dinner, thankfully they did squeeze us in which we were grateful for but we felt a bit silly

Staff at the Porth Beach Hotel we’re extremely helpful and friendly. :) Meals were exceptional, especially the breakfasts. The location and scenery were idyllic. We wish the owners all the Best of Luck for the future! :) We would definitely recommend this hotel to others and we would happily stay there again! :)
Only 2 very minor issues:
1. The room temperature was not easy to control.
2. It may have been useful to have a local bus timetable at the hotel reception.

The location was perfect and the staff were all extremely helpful and very pleasant. The bed was very comfortable & the shower was lovely too.

Me and John loved the property, went to Cornwall for our mini honeymoon, staff are really friendly, Lisa on breakfast is brilliant 💕and the property is stunning.

Great location and lovely staff. Our room was very well equipped and huge. Anj and the team were very welcoming and great hosts.

Ang was very welcoming and even thought it was not a peak time of the year everything I would have required was available and offered. The location was perfect for my next day seeing customers so would come again
The only complaint was the Wi-fi. It connected to my phone but not my iPad or laptop which was frustrating (but actually a welcome break from working!!) I believe the weather wouldn’t have helped on this occasion so most likely would normally be better.

Appearance and location
we were expecting a decent sized room for the price but ended up with a box room.

Arrived earlier(1030) than expected and went in to confirm if ok to leave car in carpark; found that we had been upgraded and the room was ready allowing us to unpack and make the most of the day without the thought that have to unload car when we returned. Room was very plush and clean; bathroom very modern with choice of shower or bath. Staff were very attentive and gave great advice on how to walk along the cliffs to the town centre. Lovely breakfast to set us up for the day.
Definitely stay again and recommend anyone looking for somewhere just outside Newquay Centre but close enough to walk in.
No evening meal available due to out of season and demand which we could understand in the current climate

really lovely style fresh modern & clean. great size rooms and not too many of them, our room had a large balcony looking over the beach & cliffs which was amazing. the staff where extremely helpful & friendly.
just sad Resturant wasn’t open when we were there but that was to do with Covid
