Close to the airport, functional, picturesque surroundings, had a convenient shuttle service which is cheaper than local taxis.

Good value for money. Hotel room is spacious,quiet and the staff were nice.

Property is not walking distance from Stansted airport. It’s located somewhere further and a bit secluded. Our flight was early in the morning but couldn’t book any uber so we have to pay £21 for the shuttle.

Proximity to Stansted Airport which was the reason for my stay to catch an early flight the next morning. Cheap but see below for the reason why! At least they are realistic for pricing the accommodation in relation to the quality of the property rather than just the location

The decor was so dated and the bathroom needed a refit , the bed was really uncomfortable, not enough pillows and no WiFi

Old damaged furniture in the room Surly but accommodating night staff on arrival Stupid shampoo/shower gel sachets that were impossible to open, so I had to wash my body with the soap, which was also difficult to open, but not impossible, unlike the sachets

Rooms have been refurbished since I stayed a few years ago, fresh, clean, tasteful & modern. Nice size room & comfortable

Advertised parking charge is for 1st night only each 24 hours after is £1.60 extra per day, when I queried this is NOT stated anywhere receptionist honoured the lower price. They have increased the shuttle bus service to the airport to £15 one way !!!! The service also stops at 7pm so cannot get back on my return & a taxi will be £25 extortionate for 4 miles!!! Had I been aware of these changes before hand I would not have booked, meet & greet at airport is cheaper. Old property so noise proofing a problem can hear everything outside of your room.

Decent-sized room that's close to the airport and reasonably priced.

The shower in the bathtub faced the short side of the tub, making it less comfortable than it could have been. I also think a vending machine or some light food options would be good for after hours.
