Beautiful and relaxing place, close to Odda. Clean rooms, great restaurant and great breakfast.

No elevator to the rooms.

The staff was very nice and helpful! The rooms was with nice view, clean and big! One of biggest advantages - personal parking. Very interesting interior of hotel. I liked it so much!

The breakfast choise was a bit narrow. But for one night stay - not worth mentioning.

Surprisingly quiet consudering location next to industry. Food good, locationn good especially for hiking Trolltunga and exploring fjord.

The hotel was clean and the dining room was pretty. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is in a very remote location and is located immediately adjacent to a mining factory facility that is terribly unattractive and noisy (operates 24-7). The pictures of the hotel deceptively suggest that the hotel is in a lovely rural location. It difficult to go for a walk or do anything from that location except stay in hotel room or common space or hike Trolltunga. The hotel should embrace their history— it was built for engineers to build the mining facility— rather than hiding it and risking disappointment of guests once they have arrived. Because of the remote location and inconsistent bus schedule to/ from Odda, you are a captive audience for their dinner, which was nice but fairly expensive.

Great location if you are in the area to hike Trolltunga. A bus station for transport to the hike start was only 50-75m from the hotel. The hotel had a beautiful view and food in the restaurant was extremely tasty. Although other reviews complained of noise from the factory, we found our stay quiet and undisturbed. The staff was extremely friendly and prepared a to-go meal for us, since we were leaving before breakfast. The sandwiches and fruit were perfect while on our day hike.

All staff, from the front desk guys to the breakfast help girls, are very friendly to help us for our various requests. The room is very clean and the most important, is very close to the trolltonga hiking. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay here if they visit Norway.

Nothing

This is an old (read: authentic) hotel in need of an upgrade. Yet, quite comfortable and with all basic equipment. Rooms were clean with a fully renovated bathroom and new furniture. The view over the fjords and its waterfalls was just stunning! The service was very friendly and attentive. There was some noise during the day and night coming from the nearby factory, but it did not prevent us from sleeping. Close to Trolltunga. They have an excellent restaurant with typically Norwegian food that we fully recommend.

The moquette in the corridor was old and full of stains and it did not give a cosy feeling. The restaurant room could be brighter, e.g. some table clothes could be used to make it appear less cold or walls could be painted in color. Our room was located on the first floor, but the lack of stairs might be problematic for those having higher rooms and heavy luggage.

Staff was helpful and able to meet request from customer. Room come with breakfast and hotel able to pack sandwiches for customers as breakfast to be carried for Trolltunga hike

A little expensive for a bare minimum room in a outskirt area, no bar fridge to store milk, no kettle in the room to make hot drinks, room was a good size but with minimum amenities
