This is a lovely hotel in the centre of Glasgow. It has been renovated but left a lot of the original features.

Spacious, clean, modern, great amenities. The breakfast was outstanding.

There were no detailed directions to the property by car on the hotel or booking.com website, only parking at the Oswald st parking lot. There is no listed “Oswald st parking lot”. There are a ton of one way streets (which become one way half way down the street) and closed off streets due to construction in downtown Glasgow. Waze and google maps DO NOT HAVE THESE ACCURATELY PLOTTED. There are NO AREAS TO CHECK IN at hotel and drop bags. Instructions: with car, park in the GLASGOW CENTRAL STATION (OSWALD ST) NCP parking lot on the 5th floor. DO NOT USE THE NCP APP OR PAY ONLINE. Take the paper ticket - the hotel will give you a voucher to drop the price from £25 to £15 per night when you check out. The fifth floor is connected to the Glasgow Central Station (GCS) directly (look for the signs to the station). Scan your parking ticket and you will enter at platform 15. There are luggage trolleys you can use once in the station. Walk towards the gate/attendants (you will see the hotel entrance ahead of you past the Boots), tell them you are going to the hotel (you may need to show your parking card) and they will let you through the luggage gates into GCS. To leave, do the same thing in reverse. I advise anyone to pull up to the ramp just by the pay machines to load the car as the car lot is quite tight around the corners and lanes and it may be better to park the car reversed in, and there is no room to load the car in the spot especially when the lot is busy .

Beautiful architecture, historic/classic in nature directly connected to the railroad station. Very nice experience. Very luxurious experience. Breakfast buffet was very good with many options. The staff was great, in particular the concierge and front desk staff.

Great location next to the main train station.

The entrance is difficult to find especially due to construction. The hotel bar should stay open later. Everything was closed at midnight on Saturday.

Room was great, comfortable, location was perfect right next to the station and where we were visiting.

Rooms were a bit dusty and could hear other rooms/people in corridor too much.

Bar closed at 11pm for residents, very early especially after returning from a concert, was advised we could use room service but very limited food available

Room was fine, not luxurious, just ok. For the price i expected more! Something kept kicking into action like a fan(not sure where it was coming from) which was extremely loud, woke me up and kept me awake several times during the night. Not to mention the outage during the evening of electrics...which seemed a little odd.

Far too expensive, breakfast was cold and missing elements I'd asked for. Food in general was poor and overpriced. would go to a local eatery next time rather than eat in the hotel if i had to stay here. A charge for delivering room service was just an insult, this should be free like most other hotels in the world.

I have stayed at this hotel before and everything is always fantastic. One added extra I liked this time was that the TV in the room had a Chromecast-that was ideal! Sometimes it’s small things like that that make all the difference!

I don’t have anything to add here because everything was perfect!

In the middle of Glasgow, easy access to Central station. Good facilities in which to meet friends and family. Rooms were quiet and functional. Everything worked well. Staff friendly and helpful.

Rather expensive. Lack of two suit case stands and limited wardrobe and drawer storage space for two people, had to live mainly out of our suitcases!

Water tap in the bathroom was leaking, however the issue was not critical.

Cheerful, friendly, patient, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Good location. Excellent breakfast /not included but good value, plentiful and well-cooked. Comfy bed. Clean. Next to Railroad station, but no noise or smell from it.

Loved the decor and style of hotel. Room was as described but bathroom was not cleaned or checked properly as we found empty beer bottle. Reception quick to fix and complimentary drink offered.

Breakfast and location of setting didn’t fit in with overall ambience of hotel.

Everything about this hotel was great! Staff, location, amenities, ambiance, the decor is beautiful. The chandalier on to of the spiral staurcase is amazing. Champagne bar is great. Connected to the train station, so very convenient. We stayed twice during our vacation. Will return. Close to everything
