The location in Sarajevo is among the best. The hotel offers underground parking and some newly renovated, spacious rooms with beds offering excellent sleeping quality and a well working air conditioning. There is complementary water, coffee and tea i(on arrival, not daily) in the room. Moreover, the front desk staff is extremely friendly, and service minded.

• The lobby is outdated, dark and dingy and would benefit from a makeover. Guests are met by a huge poster announcing GIRLS – STRIP TEASE. The entrance is dodgy, with staff members hanging around to get a smoke. • We were given a keycard to the room along with a metal key and explained that the electronic system was temporarily out of order. The key card, however, never worked (as reviews in the autumn of 2023 also concluded – so during the past year, the electronic system hasn’t been fixed). • We found that our room was not thoroughly cleaned – pieces of alu-foil and long hair was scattered on the carpet. • After returning to our room in the early afternoon, it was not prepared by housekeeping. We were told that ONLY ONE key to the room existed, and that was the one we carried with us during the day. We patiently waited 30 minutes to get the job done. • We requested a small bottle of hair conditioner, but this toiletry item was not available (in a 5-star hotel). • At 08:00 AM there was no hot water – it was lukewarm, at the best. Who expects to take cold showers in a 5-star hotel? • The breakfast is – at the best – fair. Despite the range of options on the buffet, these appear messy and unappealing. The staff (middle-aged men) are ignorant and seem not to care about the visual presentation and appearance of the food. The white toast was dry as cardboard, so we wanted to toast it. However, the toaster was out of order. Another guest said that he had asked for the toaster for the past four mornings. • Before arrival we requested parking and was informed (in writing) that the daily rate was 12, 80€. However, upon arrival the daily rated had increased with 7€ to 20€.

Staff were friendly and willing to offer help where we asked, good location on the edge of old town.

When booking we requested twin beds, we didn’t get these. There were objects lying around the room, on top of the wardrobe. We had a balcony but the door didn’t shut properly and there are clubs/pubs outside which don’t shut till 1am so it was very loud. The aircon/guest panel didn’t work so we had no aircon. On two occasions someone/cleaning staff walked into the room without knocking first, this was mid morning. There was a rain shower however this wasn’t working properly, the ports were blocked and the shower head not on properly so water came out the top and dripped down. Breakfast was unlabelled, lots to choose from however not great quality food and some of the cereal was stale.

Sve bi moglo biti bolje.Namjestaj je dotrajao,u kupaoni je poplava poslije tuširanja. Doručak je debelo ispod prosjeka za 5 zvjezdica. Nikad mi se nije desilo da mi naplaćuju uslugu kod prijavljivanje.

Bel hôtel, bien situé, confortable.
