Tolles Hostel in guter Lage zum Zentrum. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht & die Aufenthaltsbereiche sind Perfekt. Es gab jeden Abend live Musik und ein leckeres Frühstück.
Die Zimmer sind mit Bad und man hat ausreichend Platz für seine Sachen.

Fue el alojamiento más caro de toda nuestra estancia en Argentina (estuvimos 1 mes) y de lejos el que contaba con las instalaciones más viejas e incomodas.
Ademas fue el único alojamiento que nos hizo pagar en dólares al tipo oficial (es decir al tipo de cambio artificial establecido por el gobierno argentino). Esto hace que el precio del alojamiento se duplique dado que un dolar al tipo oficial son alrededor de 100 pesos mientras que el dolar blue (tipo de cambio real) cotiza alrededor de los 200 pesos.
Como consecuencia de lo anterior pagamos 430 euros por 3 noches en un hostal corriente y viejo. Es decir se dio la paradoja de pagar el doble de precio por un hostal que por hoteles de 4 y 5 estrellas en los que tambien nos alojamos.
En definitiva nos sentimos estafados dado que en nuestra reserva en booking el precio aparecía tanto en dólares (480 dolares) como en pesos argentinos (47.000 pesos argentinos). Sin embargo no NOS DEJARON PAGAR EN PESOS ARGENTINOS O SI QUERÍAMOS PAGAR EN PESOS ARGENTINOS NOS EXIGÍAN 97.000 PESOS!.

Communal spaces were super comfy, the view out of the window was incredible, staff super nice, friendly as accommodating. The whole vibe was great. Fireplace, Cordero Patagonico and cuddly dogs enhanced the experience.
Rooms are quite small and top bunk in some rooms may feel claustrophobic as it’s brushing the ceiling. Ladder to climb top bunk has odd design that makes you climb from the front and not from the side: a bit awkward if I dare to say.

Todo, parecía un hotel con camas compartidas más que un Hostel, los gurises de la recepción todos unos genios, el personal de la cocina y de limpieza siempre súper atentos a todos.

Precio. Les pedí que me cambiaran a una habitación individual para estar con mi pareja, me dijeron que sí pero me subían la tarifa de 59 dólares a 159 (día entre semana).
Les pedí que me cancelaran la estadía sin costo y se negaron. Su respuesta fue breve. Ud aceptó una tarifa sin devolución….
En fin… tuve que ver otro lugar para quedarme con mi esposa. A mitad de precio y en un HOTEL.
Igual me cobraron en Arica del Sur Hostel. Además la idea era pagar en moneda local, pero ya me habían cobrado desde la tarjeta que hice la reserva, o sea en dólares.
Hay muchas hosterías y Hoteles en el Calafate por igual precio y muy superiores. Conseguí rápidamente.
No me quedé ni una noches hice el check ni para conocer y decirle que ya me habían cobrado

Beautiful hostel, the view from the common area was amazing, staffs were really helpful and the tours that could be booked through hostel were really good
Dinner and wine were at reasonable price and nice, portion was generous
Got very poor sleep for few nights staying in a mixed dorm of 6 since one of the dormmate was being extremely inconsiderate and selfish for 2 consecutive nights who'd came back to the dorm at 2am and turned on all lights and got stuffs in and out from his bag for 30 mins waking everyone up while the rest 5 were deep asleep, not the hostel's fault though but just got extremely unlucky

I enjoyed the free breakfast, especially the eggs and fresh fruit. The selection was a lot bigger than the other hostels I had previously stayed in. The common area was nice and big with comfy couches and plenty of seating. The staff was super friendly.
The wi-fi seemed to cut out quite frequently.

Cozy, amazing atmosphere, cool common areas, very clean. Warm room(highly appreciated in the cold winter). Good selection of trips to boom, very friendly staff. Perfect internet, lovely dogs. Good options for dinner.
Can get a little noisy towards the night. Breakfast is very basic.

The staff, food, and accommodations were great. The view of the lake and mountains is amazing. And they treat their dogs amazingly. 100% recommend.

We booked a room with two sets of bunk beds and a private bathroom. Basic but served its purpose. Plugs and lights were available next to each bed. I liked that the toilet was in a separate area than the shower. Towels were provided. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, toast, cereal and alfajores. Plenty of tours available for booking from the hotel. Location is not super central, but within walking distance from the busy area.
If i were in charge, I would ask people to be more mindful of silent times during the evening hours.

We were charged 3x the price they usually charge. It was $700 for 3 nights, this is a price of a decent hotel, not a hostel. We thought the rooms would be more groomed because of the pricing, but not at all same bed bunks for everyone. No value for the money we were charged. They will charge you the highest price they could, don't hope to save while paying in ARS and getting a deal.
Breakfast was poor, cool eggs every morning with bread and apples. Dirty tables, and no kind attitude from the kitchen staff in the morning. It's good to share this so the guests know what to expect.

The rooms were well-equipped. Helpful staff: they consulted us on the activities in the Glaciers park and offered help in booking them. Decent breakfast.
