the service is really bad, one of the worst I have seen across the many sarovar hotels i have been too. for basic requests from housekeeping you one needs to follow up 5 times

Staff at restaurant is very nice. Parvathy was very helpful, but having said that. Breakfast is good not great. They can be out of cheese for months and out of milk and mention that to customer that you will get only black coffee or tea.

A general sense of not delivering the last level of service, wifi - does not work smoothly in rooms though it is claimed. Their pool towels run out and staff will only have sorry face. Its great property but the final details need to be superior - quality of pool water is like something to look at. Overlooking Poovar beach was very very very dirty post a party by locals between 25th Dec to 31st Dec. Security at beach jetty will tell a huge list of rules - almost like a constitution. All in all for their price they are not matching resorts of similar price.

No doubt property is having best location with a view of back water and sea. Food is really good, specifically the Kerala style thali. Breakfast, Lunch & dinner time well spread and for buffet it is really good to enjoy the food with time Complementary Evening snacks and Tea / coffee Evening Event of Flute was awesome A lots of good options for Kids to be engaged as well family can enjoy

Check in & check out time is odd No Bar facility Food is bit over priced, but good Spa is too costly and avoid evening time appointments of SPA as they really do hurry to close by 6:30 PM IST so you will miss the relaxing felling though you pay heavy

The location on the quiet beachfront was excellent

The room given to us was not sea view.. it was besides the workers mess and the smell from that was very bad.. it was coming all day long. Food was not good. Even the Kerala Puttu was dry.

Location - Very beautiful Restaurant - Nice food

Booked a room for INR 7200 Garden View considering it is a 5 star hotel. When we entered the room we were shocked 1. Room door lock not working 2. Toilet door not working 3. Foul smell inside room 4. Lamp bulb missing 5. Very dim light 6. Spider webs 7. Toiletries missing and didn't get even after 3 calls 8. Old mattress dumped outside the door 9. Door swipe card didn't work and had to wait outside once The room looked like a lodge and not even worth 2 star After a long process we were shifted to Leisure villa This room was like 1. Very old floor tiles 2. Uncleaned toilet (Urine smell) We somehow stayed there for a day. This was the third resort we booked for Onam holidays and was the worst resort ever stayed. When you complain they treat you like refugees. No managers will come and speak to you, all issues will be sorted out by technicians Garden view Room - 1 star (they say 5 star) Hospitality - They need proper training ( Few guys are alright) Cleanliness - We need to clean lol! Room Service - Need to beg and wait Furniture - Can find better ones in cheaper lodges Worth for money - Rip off, They cheat you Restaurant - They got 3 star menu and charge 5 star rate (Restaurant staff are very friendly) Activities - They got all in list but all are rusted and poorly maintained Complimentary Tea - Got just 1 snack while other resorts provide 3 - 4 snacks Complimentary boating - Just 10 mins ride to and fro Overall: They charge everything 5 star and you get everything under 3 star Recommendation: Avoid this cheaters and find a nice one, Even home stay is better Don't book garden view rooms ever, New lake view rooms are good.

Pool and food

The attitude of some staff. They have a very grumpy attitude - not pleasant at all.

It's a joke that all facilities close by 6pm. No indore games, no spa, no massage, no pools,.. If a fun.. People come to. Enjoy themselves and shutting down is not fair. I don't recommend to any of my friends. Where other resorts open until 12am. You can enjoy whatever you want. I forgot boating also, ose by 5pm. That's not fair. Not at all.. Management should rethink the decisions or you will loose customers for sure.
