Die Lage ist perfekt, besser geht’s kaum. Vom Hotel aus erreicht man in wenigen Minuten alle Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch der „Hafen“, von dem Ausflugsboote ab,- und anlegen ist quasi um´s Eck. Unser Zimmer (320) lies einen herrlichen Blick auf den See, den Panoramaaufzug Bastione und St. Barbara - eine kleine, anmutige Kapelle ca. 600 Meter über den Meeresspiegel liegend - zu. Vom Balkon aus konnten wir das herrliche Treiben bestens beobachten! Das Zimmer sieht wie auf den Fotos von booking.com aus, das ist mir bis heute noch nicht untergekommen. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit und bemüht. Das Frühstück begeisterte mich jeden Morgen aufs Neue. Es gab viele kleine Leckereien, einen wunderbaren Kaffee aus dem Automaten, frisches Obst, div. Joghurts, eine große Auswahl an Marmeladen, Fruchtsäfte, Wasser mit und ohne Zitronen,- und Orangenscheiben usw. Meinen Mann störte ein wenig, dass man auf Rühreier, gekochte Eier, Wurst, Käse, Tomaten, Gürkchen ect. keine Zugriff hatte, da sich diese Speisen in einer Vitrine befanden, und nur von MitarbeiterInnen ausgegeben wurden. Ich hingegen finde es Ressourcen schonend, da viel weniger Lebensmitteln weggeworfen werden.

Als negativ empfand ich die fehlenden Stühle und Tischchen auf den Balkonen. Das war‘s aber auch schon.

Die Lage am See…wir hatten zwar nichts davon…Hotel überbewertet….

Eier beim Frühstück wurden nicht frisch zubereitet…es hiess…sie wurden heute frisch zubereitet..geht gar nicht!! Wellness kostet zusätzlich…schaut Euch die Oesterreicher an!! Die Chefin war nicht freundlich…hierher kommen wir nicht mehr…wir wurden in einem Zimmer abseits des Hitel einquartiert…schlecht!!!

The breakfast was alright.

The Room and the “City” View. The so called “Spa”. The Toilet paper was the cheapest, I wouldn’t expect this in a Suit. No toilet lid. No thicker Blankets, but a AC that runs either Full power or not at all. Every Extras comes in a very low Quality with even lower Service. Half of the Room is locked, which is okay but does not feel very welcoming.

The air conditioning was very difficult to use- it went on and off. It was hot and then cold. The outside space has to be accessed from the street which is a bit bizarre and there isn't any shade,

Not what we expected based on booking.com…they oversold it and what was included.

Superb location at the waterfront and close to all shops and restaurants. Spacious apartment with a separate bedroom was convenient when travelling with a baby. Rooms are slightly outdated but clean and comfortable. We also didn't hear any noise from the corridor or neighbour rooms.

Beautiful hotel! Looks directly onto the lake! Loved the Italian decor & the location was superb! Located at the top of the lake which for me was the most picturesque of the entire lake! Roughly 1hr from Verona Airport by car Easy to get around by boat/car/bike

the staff

You can't beat the location, which is right by the lakeshore and within the historic center of Riva. The view from the balcony is truly breathtaking. The room was very cozy and super clean, with a nice couch and lovely little table. We absolutely loved it. The restaurant was great, too. The breakfast buffet offered such a large number of choices, we almost felt like being spoiled. The staff were also very nice. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Riva.

Excellent location. Good breakfast.

The rooms contain lots of stairs. Our room had three floors, one with only the bath, another with the living room, and the bedroom on the third floor. Most of the time, we tried to prevent our girl from climbing the stairs. *you will not find any indication about the stairs in the room we choose on the hotel booking page/ order. The staff tried to find us another room, but the only option was another room with fewer stairs, but the elevator in this section was out of order, and we had two heavy luggage (the hotel doesn't help with the luggage). We wanted to move to another hotel, but the woman on the receipt said that because we had pre-paid for the room, she couldn't refund the money.

We upgraded our room to a room with a view and a hot tub. It made the whole difference of the staying. A great breakfast, when we stayed at the hotel there was a very nice weather so we could seat and have the breakfast outside.

We saw someone of the staff smoking at the bar which is actually the room of the breakfast.
