Spa bath was lovely :)

I didn't realise that there was no cooking facilities and just a microwave (my fault for not reading the facilities properly) would have been great if there was an electric frypan to use :)

Location

The light in the bathroom has dead bugs in them,there windows do not close all the way (for all the rooms), the fleas in the room as got bitten all over. The fan inside the room wasn't working at full speed and it was only on one speed, which was slow. After telling the lady (owner) at the reception she was very rude and showing attitude. And she advised that the fan is at max speed. I had another friend who was in another room so went and showed her the fan there, and she started getting angry, saying we would cancel your room. As she knew there were no rooms available amy where because of the holidays. Also we were not made aware that there were people there from emergency housing, was never mentioned on the booking nor while checking in. Her customer service is really bad. And then they provided me with a desk fan, which obviously is not good enough because its not the same. The lady really needs to learn how to talk to customers. I am not happy with the room and the service. Definitely stay away as they don't really put in care in the rooms nor do they care about customers as most rooms are always booked for longer periods of time.

dirty blinds, carpet, cutlery draw. bathroom is ageing. just needs a good clean all over.

This is our second stay and we recommend it to everyone we know who is going to New Plymouth.

We have no concerns whatsoever.

Just the noise the fan made, but if you know how to block it out you don't realise it, just sucks when you sleep though
