Scotland has some great hostels and this one is really fantastic, and actually quite large. The lobby is modern and welcoming. Although I did not use the kitchen or laundry facilities, it's nice to know they are there. The kitchen is huge and brightly colored. I was just there one night, but I would stay there again on a next trip to Inverness. I left early so did not get a chance to have their 'wee breakfast' but it sounds like it's a great option. It's about a 15-minute walk from the train station through a beautiful residential area. The reception staff were wonderful, very friendly. My room was en-suite and it was simply furnished with a twin bed, nightstand and dresser. The shower was quite large and had great water pressure and temperature. All I needed! Clean, simple, easy. My room had a nice view of the garden. Although it was in the same hallway as the male bathrooms and there was a lot of racket from the doors opening and closing, I travel with a small white noise sound machine so once that was on, it blocked out the noise.

The bathroom floor was a wee bit sticky - I think this is due to whatever cleaning solution is used.

Facilité d'accès, parking, taille de la chambre, la cuisine a dispo est parfaite et vraiment bien équipé (vaisselles, torchons, éponges, produits vaisselle, frigo, étagères, gazinière, casseroles poêles). Les lits sont faits à l'arrivée et c'est très confortable !

Isolation moyenne entre les différents dortoirs et malheureusement mais pas de la faite de l'auberge, le manque de bonne manières de la part de certaines personnes.

Good value for money and location was good

The rooms were clean, so were the common areas like the bathroom or lobby. The beds were comfortable and the bedding warm (maybe the heating was cranked up too high for me but I'll put it in advantages because "too warm" is a nice problem to have during Scottish winter). Overall really good value for money, clean and friendly hostel.

There were only 4 lockable cabinets for 6 beds. It wasn't a problem during my visit as not everyone wanted to use them but it could be one if all 6 people needed to lock their things up.

Kitchen was very big and full of equipment, and the guests did a great job to keep it clean so it was a great experience! The shower rooms were also very tidy and good.

Staff very much approachable - they replied to all my queries before arriving and they extended the check-in time to accommodate my arrival time. Thank you!

The hostel was in a good location just outside the town centre, easy to get to and plenty of parking. The ensuite room was clean and the bed was comfy. The hostel reception staff were nice and helpful, I arrived quite late at night around 21.30pm and I had no problems checking in. The hostel had a bar and good facilities.

Window didn’t open fully. Not suitable for disabled person.
