very brief stay … left early morning.

Everything was great!

Location was handy for the beach, restaurants and transport. The room had everything I needed, bed, TV, WiFi, and private bathroom. It's a bit old, but it's clean. I'd stay there again.

The apartment was spacious and the cleaner, whose name I don't know, was incredibly kind and friendly.

The train passed about 7 times before we woke in the morning and our room was right at the track but nothing can be done so no big deal but just so people know. Its loud, but we were on holidays zo didn't spend too much time In the room anyway

Friendly staff who responded promptly to any requests. 24hr check-in. Clean room with comfortable beds and a good bathroom. The air-conditioning was fantastic. It was right in the heart of the town, a 2 minute walk from the beach and 10 minute walk from the old town.

It would have been useful to have a brush in the room to clean up all the sand we brought with us from the beach. We had to ask for more toilet roll, so maybe put more out in the rooms.

The shower! I like a shower hose I can lift off, the shower is a fixed head rain shower type and I just can't cope with those!

Nice, basic room. Hostel very close to the beach and old town. Heating, hot water, clean sheets, towels, clean bathroom - what else you need? Free water bottle in a room was a nice detail.

Maybe the room was a bit dark, and the view was into the patio interior.

Lots of towels. Super clean. Brilliant location, near everything important. Lovely welcome. Modern.

My room was an 'inside room', window onto a shaft of light. Bit cold for all my stay. Heater impossible to work out.

The very disingenuous and dishonest manager/owner of this hostal has a condescending attitude towards guests. We booked our room for 3 nights and he immediately charged the price of all 3 nights before we arrived. However, he gave each of us only a tiny package of shampoo and a tiny package of shower gel enough only for one shower. No soap, no hand disinfectant. He is American himself, speaking English perfectly, but when we told him about the lack of soap problem in our room, he replied in Spanish knowing that we don't understand Spanish, and he faked a broken English with a non-American accent. We had to go buy the soap ourselves to wash our hands after using the toilets. The 2nd day, he didn't supply us any soap, shampoo or shower gel; neither did he get our room cleaned. The room cleaning and the 2 tiny packages of shampoo and bath gel per person only came the 3rd day. We told him that we had had to go buy soap ourselves and that he didn't meet the basic hygienic standard of a basic accommodation. His response: we all had to conserve water because of the planet climate problem (!) and that he gave us the shower gel and shampoo only because he was nice (!). My reply: I would put his responses on the booking.com comment section and report him to the Spanish health ministry. He showed me his middle finger, called me crazy and threatened to call the police. I told him he'd better call the police immediately so that we could show them our room. Another client heard our arguments and called the police. He then dared to lie to the police that he gave us soap, that I was crazy and wanted to hit his head with my mobile phone (!). I asked the police to come to our room to verify the lack of soap in our room, but they didn't as they were not supposed to enter private guest rooms. Yet, they gave us a complaint form to fill out and submit it to the town hall, which we will do.
