Excellent Breakfast and the staff were wonderful,

Room was a bit too warm but staff turned the heating down for us.

room wasn’t cleaned or bed made although it stated there was a daily maid service and they stopped serving meals at 7:30 at night when most people would want to eat

Room was clean and tidy although in need of decorating. Beds very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and lovely waiting on staff. The location is idea for Ambleside and the surrounding areas. if you have a bus pass the local buses are free to travel on

Comfort of the beds, and hot shower. food was good and cocktail's excellent. Very near to attractions in the area, all within walking distance.

Friendly and helpful staff, decent location and good sized room

Not much. We were taking part in a bike race so needed to be up early. The staff gave us some food we could eat in lieu of the normal breakfast so were great in that regard but difficult to rate the regular food given we didn’t get chance to eat it. Also, a tad pricey compared to other places I’ve stayed in Ambleside but guess that may have been a reflection of the particular weekend we stayed
