it was very modern and picturesque

really dark at the back when we arrived so an extra light would be useful
back alley entrance and also there was noise from passing cars.
didnt cause any issues, but I think in the summer it would be very loud on an evening if you have children

Excellent location! Very clean and comfy.
The house was beautifully decorated, with every little touch well thought of. Also dog friendly which is a great advantage for walkers.
I would definitely stay here again, hopefully soon!

It is a lovely, clean, modern apartment in a great location.
There was a problem opening the main entrance door. The lock needs fixing. It took a long time fiddling with the key getting in and locking the door. It took us approx 30 minutes to get into the property.

Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Place really clean and well stocked. Situated in a popular area of Ambleside. Great communication from host.

The location of the apartment is fantastic - within walking distance of everything in Ambleside (and having visited a few other towns, Ambleside was also the most picturesque town on the lake!). Parking overnight is really easy, and the apartment itself has everything you could need. A great stay all in all!
Really minor one, but as there is no glass around the shower, the bathroom floor does tend to get quite wet. In the grand context, its nothing major but just something to consider.

Very limited access to the property by car. Very small driveway at the side of the property.

Really high quality finish in the lodging
Spread over three floors wasn't ideal as there wasn't a lounge area for the family to relax in.

Loved the location, and all the facilities provided.
No warning of extremely steep polished stairs, we had a toddler with us, hand rail would be useful all the way down the stairs. Very cold on arrival in late November, would have been nice to have heating on at arrival.

The location was ideal.. right in the centre of Ambleside and close to beautiful countryside.

Excellent place right in the heart of Ambleside. It was clean, modern, warm and welcoming. The host was amazing and very generous. We have already booked our next stay and can't wait to return.

First time to the Lake District and spent the time in the centre of Ambleside at Juliet's spacious, clean and very comfortable house. Close to all amenities and easy access to the lakes. The house is very clean and fully equipped with lots of little extras, for us and our dog, which were much appreciated. All of the pubs and recommended were open and were fantastic she clearly is an expert on the area. We cannot wait to come back and would not stay anywhere else.
There is nowhere better.

Location. Nice bathroom. Good shower. Comfy bed
Not deep cleaned - concerned about coronavirus. Towels were very fusty, everywhere very dusty. Food left in fridge dated best before November 2020 (This was in April 2021!) Stale cereals and other items still in cupboard from before Christmas. Tv didn’t work properly. Appeared that it hadn’t been deep cleaned as expected. Owners did not reply to repeated messages.

All the nice little touches like treats, champagne, chocolates.Full use of everything in cupboards & milk in fridge.Bathroom was beautuful.

The property was spotless and beautifully decorated. Right in the centre of Ambleside, close to all the shops and restaurants. Beautiful view during the day and night and was warm and cosy. The property is large and has everything you could possibly need for a holiday. The little extras made it special!
