Great location for the town centre and the lake.
Noise was heard outside either from the kitchen air ducts or a heat pump source from the property across the back of the hotel.

Lovely hotel stayed here about three times our room had the best view, very clean, great breakfast too . Staff always friendly and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the location was ideal for the lake and town centre, room 30 was great for us on the ground level, the room was bright and spacious with brilliant views, and the on site car parking was a massive bonus

The location was great for the lake as well as a wander into town. The rooms were clean and tidy and the breakfasts were amazing.
My 85 year old mum's room was at the top.of the building and alas there is no lift. It's worth asking for a lower floor room if you have mobility issues.

Really friendly staff, great service on arrival and at breakfast.
The food was superb and really set you up for the day!
Rooms were clean and maintained daily.
Parking was paid, but it was great to get the car out of the way.
Was close enough to local amenities and a good 'base-camp' for access to exploring routes.
All in all, great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it.
The shower didn't adjust much (but that's just personal preference).

10 minute stroll to Derwent water.
Exceptionally friendly & helpful staff.
Fantastic cooked breakfast.
Clean and warm hotel, homely feel, a few minutes walk to town center.
Overall 10/10 - wouldn't hesitate to book again.
