Perfect location for the family funeral we were attending at The Salvation Army Chapel. Staff very kindly let us continue to leave the car parked after we had checked out.

The room was uncomfortably warm , but the outside temperature had gone up , so the heating might not have taken this into consideration.

breakfast was very good in nice dining area, room was clean and nicely presented, staff were very helpful and friendly, plenty of parking at the venue. pretty little place and generally quiet although the pub is busy in the evening

would have liked to eat in the pub in the evening but the pub is clearly very popular and extremely busy, probably not the best environment for dining, however that is not a criticism as a lot of people like the buzzy vibe but we were looking for somewhere a little more quiet to eat so popped to the Indian across the road

The bathroom and bed was full of hairs! Loud music playing until late even through the pub was quiet. The breakfast was presented well, but poor with very limited options. On check out I wasn’t asked how my stay had been.

Great location and very friendly staff.

It was one of the smaller single beds I’ve slept in and I wasn’t that keen on the menu, I chose to eat elsewhere.

Facilities were clean and welcoming. Staff were very friendly and professional. Good food and bar available. Whole environment was friendly.

The room was a little on the small side. As I was on my own it was OK but would have been a little small for me if I was sharing.

Lovely rooms, very well decorated.

Included breakfast was ‘only’ continental. It was adequate but would have loved a cooked breakfast included.

Breakfast was good - continental Monday to Friday only - cooked Saturday and Sunday. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.

Room temperature was very warm with no means to turn the radiator down as it was behind a grill . We opened the window but the room ( number 7) was above the kitchen so we then got all the kitchen smells . When we checked in the lady was busy doing something else and asked us to wait - not a great welcome . Carpet was threadbare on staircase didn’t give the best impression . Our room was also above an eating area which was very busy that evening with two large parties in - the noise can be heard in the room .

Room was very nice, clean and comfortable with lovely decor and nice little treats and refreshments available. Beautiful well sized bathroom even in a double room.

Unfortunately a cooked breakfast is not included in the price of the stay and we were not made aware of this on checking in. Breakfast is quite pricey if you decide to buy it.

King room was large, clean and comfortable with everything you would expect. Large bathroom with tub and walk in shower. Period details with modern facilities, really nicely done.
