the hotel is located right at the seaside, so you can literally walk down some stairs into the ocean! watch the turtles! swimming beach is 100m far away! the next small supermarket is just opposite the rod! bus stop is also just in front of the hotel! ... if you do not expect a super modern hotel, this is truelly a chillded place to stay!! oh and the staff is nice: first, the manager borrowed me some cash on my arrival and second night, they send driver to get me some beer! ;-)

Very nice terace view to the ocean. Amazing waves! Black sand on the beach. Good location - our family love "turtle beach". Near Unawatuna (5 min. with tuk-tuk)
First floor room was terrible. First night we sleep in very dry and cold room, drops of water dripped from the ceiling on the bed. Thanks to the administrator, next night we slept in second floor, much better apartament. So, first night was 1/10, next night almost 10/10. That because we rate 5/10. Breakfast also was very normal.

The location by the beach, the view is absolutely stunning.
Super nice place with amazingly nice staff, just the electrical outlets are super old so no adapter even fits, and the rooms were a bit off and not too clean, found a cockroach in my room as well. Also the street in front of the hotel is insanely loud which you hear all night. And the power generator as well makes insanely loud noises which keeps you up

It was a well spent 2 days at this location - Blue Sky Beach Resort. Staff was friendly & so helpful. They do care beyond boundaries and down to earth in terms of willingness to help. The hotel is located in the midst of all places that we wanted to explore which was really convenient & cost efficient rather spending hours in travelling on sightseeing. A Special thanks to the property owner's son - Dilshan who tried all best possibilities in ensuring that we are feeling comfortable and enjoying our vacation. I would highly recommend such small resorts worth for money!

The resort was very clean and neat, we had a very tasty breakfast and the staff was very nice. I loved that the beach was next to the resort, however because of that I could hear the sea and waves were very loud.

The bathroom showers didn't have pressure so it was tough to get the sand off after a long day at the beach .
