Friendly staff on reception desk. Perfect location. Easy to find street parking. Clean and spacious room.

Excellent location, staff were very helpful and friendly. Different parking options as well which they helped with and we only paid 5 Euros for parking overnight. Overlooked a beautiful old square and 2 minute walk from local restaurants.

No negatives for us - would pick this Hotel again and Mantova is beautiful.

Right on the main piazza of Mantua, so a superb location. The room was spacious, with a lovely view of the piazza.

Beforehand you have to think about how to park your car, because the hotel is in the limited traffic zone. No problem, but be aware of it. The breakfast buffet was of average quality.

The location, right beside the ducal palace, couldn't be bettered. The room was compact, but sparkling, and the staff efficient.

One small gripe - the fridge in the room was right beside the bed - and it was a bit noisy during the night.

Delightful position with a splendid view from our window of the piazza with the Palazzo Ducale and Cathedral It is very convenient to be able to take meals in the restaurant where one goes for breakfast in the morning , as part of the hotel deal. You pay for meals (lunch and dinner) separately, according to what you chose, but the food and view are both delightful. Warmly recommendedfrom every point of view.

The room was very spacious and with a wonderful view of the main square from this historic building. The location is superb, and very close to restaurants and the main attractions. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It could not have been better.

The breakfast was fine, but was repetitive every day. Staff was nice but very busy.

The noise in the hotel was terrible. It sounded as if water were running or there was some mechanical issue in the walls. The rooms were rather spartan. I think that added to the noise. All hard surfaces with no sound absorption. Disappointing.

The Gonzaga is a high quality 3 star Hotel, located right in the centre of Mantova and was ideal for my wife who had access to all the galleries and museums, as well as having quiet working time and perfect wi-fi. Breakfast was excellent and informal. Would I stay there again? Definitely

The hotel is perfectly located

The walls are very thin. Then, if your neighbour does not take care, you hear everything he does. That was unhappily our case the first night with an Italian family, strating srceaming and even singing as loud as possible from 7 30 AM!!
