close to train, welcoming and accommodating

our group had a 5:30am out time due to our train departure and the Hostel went out their way to prepare (14) large bags of to go bags for our journey. Although we were now allow to consume on the train having all those treats helped us for the rest of our journey that morning.

The beds are spacious and comfy with great quilts.

we were a group of 14 and this property was perfect for us. They were able to accommodate us with all our rooms and spacious beds. The comforters and pillows at this establishment were really great.

Excellent location next to the train station! We booked a night here as we had a morning train to catch the next day and the hostel offers free parking.

My bed had a smell and even though it was very cosy and comfortable with thick duvet, I could barely sleep with the musky smell.

Freddie and his wife were very great and helped us with everything we needed (transport, tours, general recommendations). When we went to Machu Picchu early in the morning they prepared a breakfast to go for us. The breakfast was also very good, we were able to chose the time for breakfast every day. The location was amazing, very close to the train station (3 minutes) and about 10 minutes to the Plaza de Armas/Ollantaytambo Ruins. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay in Wayras Hostal when in Ollantaytambo!

The toilet floor is too cold but the shower is hot

The property is clean and well furbished and tourist friendly. The view of the hills from the window is awesome. Breakfast over looking the river was great.

This hostel has really the perfect location to take the train to MachuPichu from Ollantaytambo. I was travelling alone and I had to take the train of 5 a.m. from Ollantaytambo, because I wanted to arrive very early at MachuPichu. The hostel was just 1 minute walk to the train station. I reserved a room in the superior floor at the back. It has a beautiful seeing to the river and you can hear the sound of the river. The breakfast was big and delicious. The breakfast room is also nice and they put a relaxing peruvian music during the breakfast. I explored also the Ollantaytambo ruins during my stay at Ollantaytambo. The Ollantaytambo ruins are very nice (you should definetively explore them if you stay at Ollantaytambo) and were also very close to the hostel (around 10 minutes walk). The hostel is quiet, it has many flowers and it is peaceful. The person at the reception is also very kind and helpful.
