The resort is at a scenic location by Punnamada lake in Alleppey. Houseboats go up and down in the daytime. The boats do not ply a night. However the place is not easily accessible due to its rather remote location. The room was was clean with fresh bedsheets and towels.

The hot water tap in bathroom went dry when we wished to take a bath in the morning. There was an uneasy wait before the resort gave us a bucket of hot water by hand. We were told that hot water will be on tap 24 hrs daily. My request to change the room was met with stonewalling. Lighting inside the room was poor. There were no bedside lamps either for reading. A wardrobe was not part of the amenities. The complimentary breakfast was basic, with poori bhaji, idli and cubed fried potatoes. No eggs were on offer. Coffee, tea and juice were within easy reach. The restaurant is open on three sides. Insects tend to be an issue at night. There is no swimming pool. Security guards were not to be seen. I had paid for two nights' on check-in. However we decided to check out after one night since our experience at the resort was below expectations. The resort refunded the price for the second night's stay. To my surprise, I then got a bill for two nights. They adamantly refused to correct the bill

Location was wonderful. Bed was comfortable. Views were spectacular.

Rooms are not maintained properly. Rate is exorbitant for the room we get. Bathroom door dint have handle, floor and roof had huge paint scrapping, insects n caterpillars were seen inside the room. AC barely worked and limited option on the in-home restaurant.

The manager was really nice and helpful....But there was smell in the room and Mosquito problem.

The resort was beautiful with the view of backwaters. The bathroom are very much unique like olden times taking shower in the nature. The manager was friendly and was always available and offer you good options for house boats.Food from al-carte menu was good and tasty

Breakfast options were low and taste wasn't good as well. Lots of mosquitoes. Hot water wasn't available.

Great Location. But facilities were basic.

Food was a big turn down. They did not have fully functional restaurant. also as a four star property they were not upto mark.

Facilities are very less. There is no swimming pool, neither cycling or water sports Very much disappointed ☹️
