It was in a great location, a few minutes from the Temple of Tooth and all the restaurants and the lake. The staff were great and moved our room promptly.

When we arrived to our room, there were ants all over the curtain. I then found these everywhere in the bed. There was a rat in the vent of the A/C and the towels were dirty and had not been washed. Staff moved our room which was without bugs, however you could hear everything on the street very loudly from the room which made it difficult to sleep. I wouldn't recommend - for the price you can stay somewhere much better - this was the only hotel we had this issue with in Sri Lanka.

Very welcoming atmosphere with great care of all staff. We even got help with organizing another day trip just evening before, so many thanks especially to Dushan for his time. we appreciate the calm atmosphere of the hotel, so our stay in Kandy was very pleasant. Looking forward to another visit.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room comfortable, excellent shower.

The hotel could use some maintenance and some soundproof windows--the location right in the center is great, but it also means that you have a very busy street right under the window and it hardly ever gets really quiet there. The food at the restaurant was not bad, but the options and the quality were not as good as at the other places I went to--think of it more as a sports bar than a restaurant.
