Rooms and service not worth the tariff… rooms upkeep was poor and not at par to the pics shown..

the staff were friendly, albeit the typical Indian level of slow service. Happy to accommodate dietary requests. the walk around the gardens was the major saviour of this place.

Overpriced for what it is - the building and interiors are in desperate need of refurbishment. Black mould in the bathroom. Really should only be about 7k a night. Authentic cuisine missing - only desi or south indian food.

Good property. Ground staffs were courteous and trying to help. Hope this property gears up to expectations. Nice view.

Unlike reviews found the service nothing near a five star. Only food available was veg fixed menu contrary to the website. Hosts were not warm Payments for bills and room rents had to be made by cash. Surprisingly cards were not accepted. Owner asked us to go to nearest town use ATM and.pay cash or cancel booking that too after we had driven 500.kms to enjoy the resort away from town during the Pandemic.This is the rudest thing we have ever come across from a host. We had to insist on bills and invoice ,they were just giving a money receipt slip. There was no wifi. Will not recommend as of now.

Staff are amazing. Best service I've experienced for a long time. They are so accommodating and do everything they can for you.

It's far too expensive. Everything is an additional add on which shouldn't be the case at this price.

The property is amazing, the staff is super helpful, food is amazingly delicious. its an amazing experience to stay at Sourenee. They go out of their way to make your stay memorable. Right from pick up from airport, to planning your meals, organizing walks/ hikes/ picnic/ bonfire and barbeque...everything was brilliant!! I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a vacation in Darjeeling. Icing on the cake is that it is just one hour away form the airport (other tea estate resorts are much further away).
