Bit noisy in the evenings with kids playing music late at night. Tricky to wash up pans etc as no draining facility, but dishwasher for plates was useful.

When I book a hotel, I always look at a reasonable price, proper cancellation conditions (until the day of arrival, penalty of no more than one night), and very good guest reviews. All of these criteria spoke for the AdaptApartments, and I have not regretted it: the hotel is situated off major streets, in a green area, with no noise. It offers spacious and fully equipped studios, even a balcony with a view over green grounds. The apartment was spotlessly clean. Colleagues commented that Adlershof is far away. For me, it wasn't. I had to work in Lichterfelde-Ost, Dahlem, and at Potsdam Square, all easily available by S45 an S46, only one change of trains. No tourists, always a seat. The free and excellent coffee 24/7 in House 1 is a special bonus, which I appreciated a lot.

This hotel is fantastic, and I would always wish to come back, though I might make sure that next time I arrive during the opening hours of reception (8am to 8pm) to avoid having much trouble and fear to even lose a booking. I announced early on that, due to business obligations, I would arrive at, or even after, midnight. I was told that I would get a code the day before, and there would be a 24 telephone line. The code never arrived. Luckily I had a working mobile and kept the phone number. In the end, I had to call from busy S-Bahn trains, and it did not seem as if this was a number in Berlin. I was connected to somebody else. I had to call again, when arriving, Luckily the owner of the complex was around and helped. He said that the hotel could not send the code, because I booked via Booking.com. Sorry, but this is unprofessional. Also, I had changed the booking from 2nd to 4h of July onwards, but it took half an hour to check out because somehow this change had not been registered in the system.

Everything was fine. Quiet and clean neighbourhood. S-Bahn station is close. Kaufland if you need some groceries. Free parking was available.

There were some spiderwebs on the walls, would be great if someone could clean that up. Corridor doors (the ones next to the elevator) were pretty noisy. Luckily there were not many people (and I tried to close them as quietly as possible) but I can imagine it could cause some nuisances in the future.

A problem with the stove hotplates - couldn't use for a couple of days.
