Location and the simplicity of it all.

The lack of utensils in the kitchen - there are some, but very limited. and the pump for the water could be electric.

Excellent location for at quiet stay in nature (we were alone at the premises - maybe summertime is more lively?). Nice and cosy little hobbit-like one-room cabin built into the mountain with beds, kitchen and seating. Warm, well equipped, good large bed. Excellent outdoor seating, good hiking routes starting at the cottage area. Clean and warm toilet/bathroom building. We were welcomed by friendly host, though at another place. We appreciated the possibility to bring our dog.

It would have been good to understand at the booking time that one has to bring bed-linen, that the toilet building is 30 m away, that water has to be fetched in a plastic-can and pumped into the tap, and that we had to clean everything before leaving. Information at the booking website is not wrong, we just assumed that these things would be included. We ended up finding it a much fun, but had to adjust first.

The bathroom (shower/toilet) is separate to the house which I didn't realize (maybe it's disclosed and I missed it) but was still a little annoying

A lovely little hideaway, by a beautiful peaceful lake. We were lucky enough to be the only ones staying there and it was very quiet. There are a couple of lovely walks around the lake area, 3km and 8km. The cottage itself was just like a cute little Hobbit Hole!! It was warm and cosy, and looks just like the pictures. We will be back to stay again!

We did not see it specified anywhere that there is no running water inside the room, but I had spotted this info in another review and we took an extra canister with us to fill up, so it was not a problem! There is a bathroom with a sink area a very short walk away, which was spotlessly clean, and you could wash dishes there too. We thought that a good idea would be to include a basin for carrying all the dirty dishes to the bathroom (especially in the dark!).
