Fantastic. The hosts had eggs, bread, cereal, milk and juice in the fridge for us on arrival.

Everything was perfect. Even classical music on arrival with a large selection of other classical artists and a large variety of books

The curtains weren't very dark in the bedroom, but we did so much walking, sleeping wasn't a problem.

The cottage was well appointed and secluded. The host was very friendly and helpful I would definitely stay there again given the opportunity.

The host was warm and welcoming and the cottage was fully equipped with everything we could want including a small breakfast for the next morning. Spacious, well furnished and inviting, will definitely be returning here next visit.

It was quiet

We were given the coach house and no photos on the internet showed the coach house. The photos I think are the gardners cottage which is totally updated. Infact I was not aware we were booking something that was so old and tired and had cobwebs everywhere, and door handles that were coming off. At no time were we informed that we were in the coach house as it appears that there is only one apartment, totally renovated

The recently renovated cottage sat on 6 acres of lovely gardens. The host was pleasant. Great location, close to town and amenities.

One of the main reasons I booked the property was the advertised internet availability. This is not the case. The host actually said that the internet drops out frequently and may not be available for days. We simply could not connect and ended up hotspotting on our phones. DO NOT STATE THAT THE INTERNET IS AVAILABLE WHEN IT IS CLEARLY NOT. Blinds are needed at the kitchen, laundry and toilet windows for privacy at night. Regarding the stove top, the electronic ignition only worked on one of the four burners. As discerning travelers, we were happy to overlook a couple of stray hairs on the bed, but not in the shower as well!! The cleaning regime here needs improvement.

Fantastic property and grounds, very friendly host, Jock the dog was awesome, breakfast supplies were a wonderful addition.

The old gardeners shed has been transformed into a comfortable cottage with all needed facilities for an extended stay. The rooms are all much larger than expected and tastefully decorated. The cottage has a cosy feel and the large walk-in rain shower was wonderfully piping hot.

It had a comfortable sitting room, separate dining area, good kitchen, bathroom etc., and good beds. Well fitted out.

A very minor quibble: I didn't care for the step up into the toilet.

Nothing was wrong

There was an excellent range of breakfast goodies available, for which we were very grateful. The cottage has just about everything you need for a short stay. Including a washing machine. It was very quiet there, which made for a relaxing stay.

The cottage needs a good clean from ceiling to floor. It is the only thing that spoils it.

The cottage was beautifully presented and had everything we needed, and more, to have a very comfortable stay. Kitchen was very well equipped, breakfast provisions were provided, washer and dryer very welcome. The bedroom was a highlight - we have never stayed in a more delightful bedroom - spacious with a cosy feel, very comfortable bed with particularly comfortable pillows, a large easy chair, plenty of storage space, windows and french doors onto the garden, with a nice little table and chairs on the verandah. The shower had a good supply of hot water, plenty of towels and extras in the bathroom. The living room was a beautiful space with comfortable sofa, TV and stereo system, playing gentle classical music on our arrival. Undercover car space right beside the cottage. The vast gardens on the property provide for peaceful walks, and the centre of this small lovely town is just minutes away. We've travelled widely, all over the world, and have never stayed in more beautiful and peaceful accommodation.
