We loved everything! This beautiful old building was everything I’d hoped for. The room was comfortable and warm with lovely furnishings. The staff were really very friendly and looked after us really well. The meals were Devine. The views were absolutely stunning and we wanted to stay longer but time didn’t permit.

The stairs were difficult with our luggage and my mum struggled a little but we managed. In an old building like this we didn’t expect lifts… just worth noting for people who may struggle with stairs. We did have the deluxe family room right at the top so there are other rooms on lower levels to accomodate for this.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was a good size and warm. Plus it was clean.

Shower door wouldn't stay closed so there was a draft. There was a noise coming from the hotel that kept waking me up. Sounded like a dryer or heater whirring on and off all night. Very frustrating. Initial contact with girl behind the bar to check in was disappointing. The instructions she gave to park my car and get to my room were inadequate and there was no explanation of meals or use of facilities so I didn't eat or do anything other than sleep here.

Everything was fine except that there was no hair dryer and the internet in the room did not work well.

Everyone in Deloraine were super friendly. Loved the accommodation as it was perfect and had everything l needed to rest each evening after a big day exploring.

this is my second time staying there. convenient to everything and very comfortable

booked this hotel because of the Era it was built, love the high ceilings etc.................. would have loved to have breakfast provided as the shops in the main street are mediocre.

Washing machine was filthy, shower door impossible to close, cooking vent beside window, noisy and railway line very close. Very small room for 2 people and luggage.

Shared bathrooms and shared lounge area are very nice and clean, plentiful off street parking

There is no kitchen — the listing needs to be updated to say kitchenette, as it only has a microwave, plates/bowls/utensils, a kettle and a fridge. You cannot cook food here. Contrary to what the owner says in response to in people’s reviews, this is clearly mis-advertised as of 5/2/2023 in the listing and should be updated. I wish I had read the reviews prior to coming as I was unprepared to not be able to cook. It seems I am not the only one who shows up and is disappointed. The rooms are comfortable but border a busy street and the street light and noise does come into the room around the windows/curtains.

Convenient location in walking distance to beautiful river & park, services & shopping. Would Maintained it’s historic elegance while offering contemporary comfort. I would be happy to recommend it to my friends to stay, dine or have a drink. Excellent value for money.
