What a little gem in Deloraine. From the lovely welcome and fresh baked bread to the bacon & eggs supplied for your first morning breakfast everything was so welcoming and homely. The beautiful big brass beds that you have to hop up to get into provide a great nights sleep. We had a 2 bedroom suite and provided everything we needed. All the little personal touches added by Georgia and Peter were wonderful. Would definitely recommend Blakes Manor when staying in Deloraine. We will be back.

Blakes Manor was definitely the best place we have stayed, and we have travelled a lot. We enjoyed a seft contained heritage unit with fully supplied kitchen, lounge bed room with bacon, eggs, cheeses, crackers, cereal options, butter, jam snd spreads plus fresh milk and fresh juice. On our arrival a beautiful loaf if fresh bread was delivered to us straight from our hosts kitchen . Complimentary chocolates also. Blake's Manor has a lovely garden with tables and seating available for guests. Being less than a 10 minute walk to the main street of Deloraine and some lovely cafes, and 5 minute walk to the supermarket the location was perfect. We plan to stay there again next visit to Tasmania.

The hosts were very friendly, personable and accommodating especially when our flight was late in the evening. The accommodation was very comfortable, cosy & had everything we needed.

Rarely have we seen a property that is as reviewed and more. The accomodation was very comfortable and a generous " do it yourself breakfast "was provided which actually lasted us several days. Our freshly baked bread was offered on arrival and our hosts ensured we had all the information required for exploring the area. Our room was period decorated which was quite unique but contained all the modern comforts. We would certainly return and recommend this accomodation to any travellers.

Wonderful stay at a divine heritage property. Super hosts who thought of everything down to the finest detail.

The hosts are the friendliest, most accommodating and informative hosts you could imagine. Spent 15 minutes talking to us about the property’s fascinating history and about all the local sites to see and drives to do. They even baked fresh bread for our arrival!

Fabulous place to stay. Our hosts were very friendly and took the time to greet us. There were some fresh eggs, milk, and juice in our room, and a welcome delivery of freshly baked bread that evening. Close enough to walk to the main street. Beautiful country view through the windows. Foggy morning so we missed the mountains. Would stay again.

Exceptional 2 night stay in the Georgian Family Suite, very highly recommended. Very spacious and cosy, with everything needed including cooking facilities, and breakfast provisions provided, including freshly baked bread. Very tasteful period furnishings, so much nicer than modern hotels.

Everything was pristine , charming period details suiting the heritage building , central location. and gracious hosts .We were sorry we only had one night and will be back , It was the highlight of our various accomodations for the trip

We had a wonderful stay. Unit was spotless. Freshly baked bread on arrival, afternoon snack and plentiful provisions for breakfast. Great location near the river, park, shops and main street. Peter and Georgia were lovely. Gardens are amazing. Looking forward to staying again.

The property is beautiful, nicely renovated building. The host were friendly and attentive. However, once you check in, it is really difficult to get a hold on someone when things do not work in the room. We were on a self-sufficient unit, and we were in charge of making our own breakfast with the supplies provided by the hosts (including a very freshly baked load of bread) However, once we turned on the stove, a circuit tripped and we were not able to finish cooking our breakfast (eggs, bacon). We tried to contact the host but nobody was at the front office nor was anyone answering the phone. We checked out by dropping the keys on the key box in front of the property and did not have a chance to talk to either of the host to explain what had happened. Besides that incident, the property was pleasant.

Generally loved the place and the historic restoration. At a great location in town and was able to see platypus in the river as well. Only minor downside was that the mattress was not that great - kind of springy and a bit thin.

Had a great stay in St Andrews Chapel (built in 1883), Deloraine. Beautiful chapel and a unique experience. It was a large space for our family of four as it can sleep up to around 13! Rhet was friendly, happy to accommodate and had lots of historical information about the chapel and town itself which is worth a stay (unfortunately we only booked one night- rec 2!) Owners will be moving into the Chapel in the future from the Manor so hoping to stay again before they do. Friendly staff at Empire Hotel where we had dinner (delicious!!) - they told us about where to find platypus in the nearby Meander River - we saw 3!! Highly recommend Deloraine, Blake’s Manor - Chapel and Empire Hotel for a great meal!

A pleasant surprise! Freshly baked bread and other treats. All the comforts of home in a character-filled setting. Supermarket, shops, restaurants a short walk away. Delightful stroll along the riverbank. Friendly, helpful hosts.

A lovely place with some beautiful extra things thrown in - a loaf of hot bread - cheeses and snacks. The bed was a bit firm for me. Totally loved everything else

The Blake Manor is a surprise to us. Deloraine is just a stop for us from Cradle Mountain to Mount Field, but I was surprised by the beauty and peace of this town and the hotel Blake Manor. Btw, the bread fresh from oven was the best bread I ever had!

This is a wonderful historic building that has been lovingly restored. The rooms are quaint and beautiful, and very comfortable and welcoming. The staff are very welcoming and informative as well. We were also greeted in our room with a complimentary cheese plate, port, and a fresh baked loaf of bread. There were also supplies for breakfast the following morning. There are also a couple of nice places to eat and drink nearby, which can be accessed by taking a nice walk along the river nearby. Platypuses can also be seen in the river at dusk! Really enjoyed our stay here.
