Meeting Catherine and Kevin and spending time here was amazing - its a quiet well though of high end property - they have thought of everything - the provisions were amazing - the amenities beautiful and the furnishings top quality. Really love that the history has been reflected - it was nice to read all about it - the renovations are superb. That weekend there was a wedding close by - ideal for this situation or a night like we had to unwind, enjoy a wine, and treat ourselves to some luxury. Little attention to detail that Catherine has provided is quite stunning. Lovely hosts - and such amazing value and close to Bunratty and all its offerings. Beautiful property - thank you for allowing us to book and stay. We will definitely spread the word. - PS the wine was amazing!!! Thank you!!

Awesome in every way!

The cottage was amazing.

This property was one of the highlights of our trip. The rooms are exceptional, the location fantastic if you want to tour Bunratty, and Catherine is a lovely hostess. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The property is gorgeous, the rooms were beautiful, comfortable, had absolutely everything we could have wanted or needed, and the hospitality, attention to detail, and customer service were first-class all the way. An amazing value and experience, I wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely be back!

Catherine, our wonderful hostess, could not possibly have offered a more well-designed, thoughtfully and elegantly furnished, suite of rooms for this visit! We dined out before we arrived. Catherine gave us a quick tour of each suite, what was where, and left us to enjoy our evening. The morning brought a kitchen filled with two types of bread, plus croissants, ham, cheese, butter, homemade local jams, orange juice, milk, 3 kinds of coffee, a French press, several Fortnum & Mason teas, and yogurt. One could have brought the leftovers out for a picnic, with a cooler handy!

The breakfast was beautiful everything was fresh and a great choice. The location was so lovely and only a short drive to Bunratty village.

Kathryn and Kevin are the best hosts ever! They are extremely kind and supportive. Our biggest mistake was to only book one day in this very luxurious accommodation. 5 stars at least. Very very comfortable and so nice. The breakfast was the best ever, way too much. Oh yes, we most certainly recommend!

We were happy to be able to have breakfast in our own time frame. There was a variety of options available. I tried 3 of the jams which were all delicious, my daughter is a nervous flyer so ate very little.

We had a fabulous stay. Catherine and Kevin were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and to help with various logistics (finding an off-license, navigating into town, dinner issues, etc.). The bed was great and as well as a duvet cover -- there was a sheet between it and the bed which meant I didn't have to sleep either hot or cold, could adjust. No where else did I find this in Ireland. Of the 6 places we stayed in Ireland -- this was by far and away the best. The setting is beautiful -- calm and secluded. The decor is understated -- both elegant and casual. As well as books about Ireland to peruse. Breakfast food/drinks -- great! I would love to return and just hang out there for a week or two.

We were travelling from Cork and Limerick and an accident happened which left us with no car. Catherine was so nice and generous helping us in our time of need. The room was unique, spacious and the breakfast was super organised. Will definitely be returning.

Generous and wholesome range of food provided. Use of Irish produce. Lots of teas and freshly ground coffee. Great granola!

Maybe a little shelf in bathroom for guests’ toilet bag would be good
