absolutely stunning! the most gorgeous home with the most magnificent view! Robyn was such a lovely host. I felt so well taken care of! breakfast outside overlooking the lake was absolutely magical.

It was out of town and you had to drive into town each day for restaurants and supplies etc. It was to far to walk.

The view is to die for! Wow factor as you drive down the driveway, the garden is spectacular, the room view is second to non! Robyn the host was delightful, loved sharing her local knowledge and went out of her way to make us feel pampered. The property was immaculate. our stay was comparable to a 5 star hotel.

The views are absolutely stunning over the lake . The house was reasonably modern with quality finishings. Robin the owner was cheerful and welcoming and accepting and polite when we canceled our stay.

It cost $395 to rent a small room with ensuite and small balcony in someone's house with all other areas being shared facilities with other guests. No privacy. The place gives the vibe of staying at a distance relatives house for the night where you don't quite feel comfortable. The most I would expect to pay would be around $180 a night. Very over priced. There was a dead cockroach in the spa bath on our arrival. Also the place had a very over powering perfume smell from scented candles or something similar. We paid above average to enjoy a luxurious weekend and this was a fail for us at Serenity on Wakeman. We decided to cancel not long after arrival and forfeit $395. We were able to book a lovely large clean apartment with a huge double spa bath. Sky TV in lounge and bedroom. Kitchen loaded with lots of tea & coffee, extra bickie's ect , High quality linen, robes, slippers, toiletries. With buffet breakfast for $280 a night.... only meters from the waterfront and private so we could relax and enjoy our well deserved weekend away.

The property was great with beautiful surroundings, and ocean view. We loved the breakfast it was amazing how Robyn took care of our requirements and requests. Absolutely fantastic hostess.
