Everything! Spacious flat, modern, very well equipped and spotless clean. Very central in Funchal, near everything you need and also with garage (which is extremely useful). The easiest check-in and check-out. The host was super friendly, hospitable and approachable. Highly recommended!!!

Short bed, not for average or tall people. It is a quite noisy place, can hear noises from the street and people coming and going next door. kitchen/dinning room window is overlooked with another property.

The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. Theocation was excellent near many restaurants and only a 10 minute walk to the Old Town area. The owners were super friendly and always available. The car-parking made it very convenient for people like us who wished to tour the island and go hiking. There was a lot of tourist information literature available in the apartment

We liked everything, but maybe this place is not suitable for those who need an elevator to go up to the third floor.

The location was fantastic, with all the places of interest just a few minutes walk away. The apartment was very clean, spacious and appeared newly redecorated. The host, Claudia, was friendly and very helpful, giving us good recommendations on restaurants and things to do. She was super accommodating. She works in the shop under the apartment so it was very convenient being able to pop in and have a chat. I would definitely stay here again, lovely apartment in a great location, good value for money!

There isn’t any air conditioning so it may get a bit hot in the summer. We visited at the beginning of June and found it a little warm at night, but not unbearable. The bedroom windows open onto the street below and faces other apartments, so we did not want to open the windows too wide. There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods, a few pods would have been a nice touch.

Very noisy. Both from street and people above us so didn't sleep as we would have liked.. Terrace which we could have used was on ground floor was small and next to smelly refuse bins.

The location, the apartment itself, free parking in a garage right next to the apartment, the wonderful host and everything else... Couldn't have hoped for a better place to stay in Funchal!

Lovely apartment in the heart of Funchal! Catia and Claudia's place was the perfect location for our first few days in the city. Lots of restaurants nearby, close the main street, mercado dos lavadores and other small shops. Super easy to walk to all places and explore the city. Love and appreciate that they offer parking as well which is a plus when staying in Funchal. Catia and Claudia were so pleasant as well and you can tell they love their island. With so many suggestions, we got to explore some places that we wouldn't have seen without them. Loved this apartment and the hosts.

Although the shower is modern, it could use a small shelf or something inside where guests can place toiletries somewhere reachable while showering. Also I would suggest putting more toiletries and coffee capsules for guests depending on the days they spend at the apartment. But Claudia and Catia were able to provide us with more when asked.

All the details are thought through to the smallest one. The parking space is perfect. Access and check out is seamless. All is done without a key, the access codes are provided to you upon your arrival. The apartment is even bigger vs the pictures. The location is amazing. Big shopping mall - 5min walk, cafes, bars and restaurants - 1min (all quiet after ~10 PM). Hell, you do not even have to go to the souvenir shop, the best one in town is on the ground floor and owned by the hosts. All the tips provided by the amazing hosts on what to do and most importantly what not to do in Madeira were 100% spot on. Will defiantly come back.

Excellent location in the center of Funchal, restaurants and shops are just around the corner, Historical stone house is very well renovated. Living room is spacious, furniture and kitchen new, comfortable and clean. Bedroom large, with plenty of storage space. The host Claudia is nice, very friendly and helpful. Free parking can be arranged in the garage of the building. We felt very well there during the one week stay. There is some noise from the street, as expected when living in the center. Can fully recommend!

Beautifully decorated with lovely style, really felt homely. Excellent welcome & check in from Cátia. Would definitely recommend.
