Bathroom (toilet and shower) was not included in the room. This is not reflected in the booking app, which says “private bathroom” but doesn’t say it’s not in your room. you have to walk out in the hall to get to it.

This hotel is perfectly located in the old town part of Heidelberg. Our apartment had 2 spacious bedrooms and a very nicely decorated bathroom. Room serviced everyday, even on Christmas day.

Everything was good, but watch out for late connections from Frankfurt airport to Heidelberg as you must check-in between 3 and 10pm, and collect your key from the hotel's restaurant during that time.

I liked the host and the location. Don't understand some reviews. When you are staying in Heidelberg in the old city center you must expect that it's not that quiet as in a lonesome hut in the Alpes. Anyhow, it did not effect me at all. Zero noise at my room towards the yard. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The food in the Restaurant which is an Institution in Heidelberg with a huge history was very nice.

It was sometimes hard to get in touch with the host. I have to admit, during my stay the Restaurant, which is the reception as well, was closed on Monday and Tuesday.

The location was fantastic, in the old town. The apartment was great. Easy to find and central We only stayed one nigh but it was well worth it. Will happily recommend and stay here again.

room very basic not what I expected.Photos on booking .com where match better then the reality.The shower for my room was outside my bedroom and the toilet further down the corridor.I only stayed one night and it was ok but would not have liked to stay longer noisy at night .Not the hotels fault it’s located in the old town and you have to accept people returning to their accommodation late at night

The rooms were supposed to be non-smoking but it smelled terrible like an ashtray it was burning our eyes. It is also not clear from booking.com that the rooms are 500m walking distance from the check in ( which is where the restaurant, beer garden and parking is) and it was unexpected and not convenient to walk there crossing the crowded shopping street with 2 kids, a stroller and suitcases.

Excellent location. The room is spacious and airy. Beds are firm and comfortable. Overall, it's an excellent room.

Check in can be a bit of annoying. With no reception desk, you have to wait until its restaurant open to check in. Therefore, no luggage storage at all. So don't bother to wish to leave your luggages earlier than the check in time. Also if there is a microwave, that would be a great bonus.

we would have preferred to have the table in the kitchen and not within the room / the bathroom is a little tiny, the door could not open totally- maybe should renovate it - no A/C the room was a bit hot

The staff (Maria) was very friendly and welcoming. the Appartment was very spacious and very convenient located. we could also park the car in the property which was very easy. however they charge 10 euro/day for it.

checking is at 3pm and there was no possibility to leave the luggage before it at reception

Very good location, easy to access to altstad. Upgrade room was prepared, it was really nice.

The staff went above and beyond in accommodating us. They moved us to a more accessible room and were extremely helpful when we could not check in as expected because of several delays on the road. The room provided was excellent, it was exactly what we needed and more. Parking was on site and very easy.

My only criticism is that the room could have been darker. That would have been better for my family.

Very cute and quaint little hotel. Our room was perfect with a little breakfast nook/table. Plenty of room to relax and recover from a long day of travel. Very cute and comfy!

When we arrived we were told we didn’t have a room with a bathroom in the room and we needed to go out to the hallway, but they offered a “better “ room 5 mins walk with no extra cost. Ok we thought. The place was filled with smoke in our room all through the night, and in a noisy part of town. If they had said the issue about no bathroom in the room I would have rebooked to a different hotel. Can’t say enough negative things about our experience. Never again!

The staff was super nice! We went to the restaurant assiciated with the hotel and the food was so yummy and the woman waiting and serving the tables was lovely and helpful. Our room was clean and spacious and affordable. The location was just steps from the Haupstrasse but tucked away in a quite area.

The beds were comfortable except the pillows were not comfortable at all. They were lumpy and not supportive.
