Fantastic getaway close to beach and town
Diria 202 is perfectly located in a gated complex which is wonderfully kept up with a fantastic pool. It's located close to the beach and town where all the action is, but it's far enough away that you don't get all the noise. We stayed in the same condo a few years ago and also had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend!

I have stated at Diria previously and love location. This condo I especially enjoyed due to the view and cute decor. It was also well- appointed with everything from towels,cookware, and beach toys. This would be my first choice to book again if going to Tamarindo!

property and location were heaven
Diria 202 was amazing. It was clean and nicely set up. The balcony overlooked the pool and ocean. In the online pictures, the ocean looks further away than it actually is which was a nice surprise. Diria 202 is in a superb location, very close to the beach and also the town, but far enough away where you don't hear the noise of the town. RPM was great to work with; we arrived late and they arranged to have the condo keys provided to us en route from Liberia airport; wow! Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating, so much so that we plan on booking this same place next year. Pura Vida!

Diria Condos in Tamarindo
Condo was clean, spacious. Nice bathroom and kitchen was well equipped. View was great! I would say the only thing is to be aware that there are 72 stairs down to the pool and 72 back up! Good exercise but have good knees! Loved the condo:)

The Diria 202 condo was better than expected. The online pictures do not do it justice. Everything was clean and neat, and the condo was equipped well for all our needs for the week. The staff were great at answering all of our questions. We will be back again!

Check in process
Very little communication regarding this in advance of departure. When we arrived at the diria hotel we were at a loss. We were sent to the condos. Nobody was there and no check in. Could not make a call go through to the number provided. Got help from security and had to go across town to find the office. Very poor communication!

This was a great place to stay. It had everything including boogie boards and coolers. There is a beautiful view overlooking a pool and ocean in the distance. It is across the street from the beach and close to all sorts of dining options. The only issue was the directions on where to park as we had to pick up our keys after 5. It was really confusing. But all in all a great place.

Located on hotel property with access to one pool and beach. Excellent location to walk to for groceries, shopping, dining, and beach. Enjoyed pool with swim up bar. Nice view of sunset from balcony. Probably 500 yards from beach. Some sand toys, boogie board, etc for guest use. Plenty of towels for pool and beach. Great full kitchen but no dishwasher. Be prepared to walk stairs up and down to pool. Can bring your own food and snacks to the pool.

My husband and I stayed in Diria Unit 202 in May. We had previously stayed in the Diria hotel so knew of the facilities. I cannot say enough about this property. The unit was absolutely perfect, beautifully furnished, full kitchen with everything you might need. A beautiful view looking out over the pool and the ocean. It is right in the center of town, close to everything. There is nothing like coming back from the beach and taking a dip in the pool with a cocktail. The pool area is fantastic for both adults and kids, never crowded. I cannot wait to stay here again, this unit will be my go to whenever I visit Tamarindo.

Our family of 4 very much enjoyed this property. All was as described, the customer service of RPM is delightful and it is close-walking distance to anything you could ever want to do in the Tamarindo area, including a convenient grocery market. We were even visited one afternoon by a feisty group of howler monkeys at no extra charge-ha!
Our girls are 12 & 11 so the pool was well used after a fun, hot day in the waves and our favorite restaurants were the several that were beachside. Not one let us down.
Hope this helps anyone considering a visit...we'll enjoy returning again!

Perfect location and a very comfortable condo with definitely one of the best views in Tamarindo. There are a couple grocery stores very near by and plenty of restaurants and bars, the beach is next door. Jogged the beach and had a swim most mornings, then enjoyed a special coffee on the patio as the day started! The company was helpful and responsive. We would stay there again.

We just returned from our vacation in Tamarindo! It was AMAZING! RPM was great to work with, they were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Diria 202 was absolutely perfect for our family of 3. It was clean, modern, had a fantastic pool and in a perfect location to walk everywhere in Tamarindo. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. We ate breakfast on the balcony every morning with the birds and howler monkeys. The views both day and night were incredible. I highly recommend Diria 202 if you want to be close enough to walk everywhere and still have quiet evenings on the balcony. We can't wait to return! Thank you again for a wonderful vacation!

Our vacation in Tamarindo was amazing. The condo was the perfect size for our family of four. The condo had everything we needed. It was clean and just as expected. We loved drinking coffee, playing cards, sitting in the hammock and watching the sun rise and set from the balcony. The RPM staff was great! They answered every question promptly and helped arrange transportation to and from the airport. Our driver was also great! Best vacation ever.

The sheets were full of stains and we found bugs everywhere which we were told it was normal since we were in Costa Rica. On top of that the first 2 mornings we were waken up by loud construction which an unpleasant experience specially since we were there to relax and we couldn’t do that. After emailing and calling management they were able to help us with the issue. They did not bring up new towels even after asking the house keeper. Pools were dirty. We actually visited there in low season not sure if because of that everything seemed filthy and not what I imagine from what I seen on the pictures.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Diria 202. The condo is nicely renovated and furnished. The King bed is very comfortable and the condo does have 2 separate bedrooms. The location is perfect just downtown Tamarindo, walking distance to all restaurants and grocery stores. Most importantly, it is located just across the road from the beach. Although there are steps to get up to the condo, we welcomed the challenge being in our late 50's and wanting to stay in shape. The only suggestion we have would be to upgrade the furniture and add ceiling fans on the balcony. Overall, we were very satisfied with this condo and the management company (RPM) were very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay here, but were very disappointed that their was no washer and dryer. We had been traveling all over Costa Rica before arriving in Tamarindo and had gobs of dirty clothes. It would also be a good idea to warn about the amount of steps one has to climb to get from the pool to the condo - 72 to be exact. Elderly people might not be able to do that. On the up side, the guards at the gates were very friendly.

Generally satisfied. A bit of a hike to get to the condo relative to the others in the area. Property was clean. It would be nice if the owners would open the washer/ dryer to renters. It would be a nice addition and keep in it line with similar condos in the area.

The location is great (across from the beach with access to all of the DIria amenities). It is a climb up many stairs to the condo. There was no hot water in the shower and we told the property management three times in the first week. The property management sent out maintenance who could not figure out how to fix the problem so we were told there was nothing they could do. The fridge went in phases between not keeping things cold enough, to freezing our eggs in the fridge. At one point the bathroom sink pipes leaked on the floor but someone came to fix it. The view from the hammock on the balcony was great.
