Clean rooms, free bicycles to ride the easy 5-10 minutes into old town, same day laundry facility. Food was good, cocktails were excellent, as were the staff - Tam/Lisa went above and beyond with her recommendations, care and attention.

We had a very good stay here. Beautiful, stylish rooms, comfortable beds, a refreshing pool, good food and super friendly staff. The massage I scheduled here was excellent. Perfection.

If you're looking for a place that's just 1km or so away from the main historic area, this is a good option to "get away". We enjoyed our daily walks or bike rides over the bridge to this area, which feels like you've left the tourist area and are back in a more typical Vietnamese village (one that is highly dependent on tourism, to be sure). Walk around the little neighborhoods here, too! Simply said, the hotel offers a whole lot of benefits at a comparatively high value. All the staff were highly responsive, hard-working, and welcoming---typical beautiful Vietnamese hospitality! The breakfast was excellent---lots of self-serve buffet options. Perhaps our best use of the hotel was the free bike rentals and free shuttle to a beach club (about a 15-20 min drive?). We ended up using their (basic) bikes for several good self-guided rides around the area (takes some getting used to for navigating the traffic but overall it was safe). The exercise felt good and we got to see quite a lot--helped so much to "get out there" and get some air and sweat flowing! As a memorable bonus, I got a haircut at a nearby barber for about $8 including tip. :)

All staffs was friendly and attentive, very helpful and informative. General manager make sure my wife and I needs and concern (if any) was taken care off. Excellence hospitality services.

Our stay at the Odyssey has been the highlight of our trip. We are both in our early 80s and this hotel has far outshone others we have stayed at. It is not a large impersonal hotel but small and the staff so incredibly helpful, courteous and friendly. It met all the filters put into booking.com as one of us had mobility issues. We have not always found this to be true in other places. If you really want to feel you are in Vietnam do stay here. Food was simply delicious.

this is such an amazing hotel! the staff are so friendly and helpful, they check in with you every morning at breakfast and make sure everything is up to scratch. the breakfast is the best we've had in terms of quality and variety, and the restaurant itself does decent meals and is super clean! the rooms are a really good size, comfortable beds and a well stocked mini bar. The pool is clean and a really nice place to chill out. overall it was just incredible service and facilities - super close to the old town as well! the best place we've stayed during our month long trip so far!

A really lovely hotel far from the main area so quiet at night. Walk back was manageable so no need for a taxi, unless it is midday and too hot. The pool was brilliant to cool down. Food was excellent as were the cocktails, and the staff were all super nice and helpful.

Bed was a bit squeaky every time you moved and the view wasn’t as good as we were expecting.

The property is very welcoming with a lovely pool area.

I would not this is a semi rural location. It’s an easy walk into the old town but it’s down a cul de sac with a new recently built holiday apartments opposite

Excellent staff pool and breakfast. Room was large and light with Mountain View. Walks through a village community with schools and temples into Hoi An.

I love the location. it’s close enough to the ancient town to walk but far enough away to be peaceful and relaxed. Every staff member is amazing. They cannot do enough to ensure that you are happy, nothing is too much trouble. The pool is the perfect temperature and it’s a great place to cool down on a hot day. this was my second stay at the Odyssey Hotel in Hoi An and it won’t be my last.

Nice room with balcony overlooking the pool. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space for bags. Nice pool. Staff were helpful and able to provide tips and tours if we had wanted. Breakfast was good, lots of options. Short walk into the old town.

We used the driver organised by the hotel for pick up/drop off and he was unsafe. He spent as much time texting on his phone as he did looking at the road. We think he also hit (or was very close to hitting) a girl on a scooter at some lights whilst he was texting. I would not recommend using their pick up and drop off service unless it is a different driver.

The rooms were well equipped, spotlessly clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Lovely swimming pool.

It was a little walk to the town,(about 15 minutes), but there was a free shuttle and the location was very peaceful. Just meant it wasn’t easy to pop back and forth.

We throughly enjoyed our time at the Odyssey. The staff were fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. The hotel was in a quiet location but not far from the old city. It was great to come back and swim in the pool. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. The food was great.

From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and accommodating. The room and other facilities were also fantastic, clean and comfortable.

The bikes to borrow were a little old and the brakes didn't work well but otherwise we couldn't fault this hotel.

Loved the small boutique feel. The pool was sensational.

Everything was wonderful at the Odyssey Hotel!! The pool is incredible and a great place to cool down after a long day of walking or the beach. The staff was helpful and lovely, breakfast delicious and all the other touches are great - like the free cruiser bikes and locks you can take over the bridge into town. Could not have been happier with this hotel!

absolutely fantastic stay, by far the standout hotel on my 3 weeks in Vietnam. excellent standards from the moment when you walk in and greeted with an iced towel and lemon tea, to the minute you leave when someone helps you with your bags. the buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful with wonderful coffee and cook to order egg station. The staff were all exceptional, from the introduction to the town at the check in process to the masseurs and bar staff - all incredibly friendly and willing to go above and beyond for their guests. would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An
