comfortable, large well equipped Villa, just 5 minute walk to gorgeous playa Hermosa

Security. Really poor. There is no security guard as the booking ad established. During all day the gates were open, even at night. 2 stranger guys got into our Villa, we complained about it with the manager through whatsapp but the customer service was really poor. They did not do anything. They said it was ok. Some of our stuff went missing. We did not enjoyed our trip at all. We wanted to leave today

Perfect in every way. a stunning villa with lots of space, in beautiful garden. the villa was well equipped and very clean. the bathroom was fantastic. the daily maid service was welcome. a beautiful beach a short walk away, and lots of amazing places to eat 5-10 minutes drive away.

We lived that it was so close to Playa Hermosa. it was away from the main part of Santa Teresa which we preferred. The place was beautifully styled and it was great to have a pool to share with just one other villa. Staff were really friendly and helpful. It was a really good size for the three of us. Plemty of space.

The roads to get there and back

Nacho, our fabulous host/concierge/property manager was so helpful and responsive to all of our needs. Truly felt like coming home each day. Such a quaint little property, just a short walk to one of the best beaches in the world, and a beautiful 10 minute ATV ride to Santa Teresa.

Our only real complaint was that the air conditioning unit was in the downstairs bedroom so the loft stayed warm the whole time, although the fans were very helpful. Even when we broke the rules (🙊)and kept the AC on when we left the room, the upstairs never really cooled off. Bearable, just not ideal.

Gorgeous Villa. Great design with everything you need and wonderful staff. 5 minute walk to great surfable beach. Only 10 minutes to Santa Teresa. it was nice to be away from Santa Teresa as it’s very very busy.

Genuine yet luxurious! This was the perfect mix of chill bungalow life and high comfort. Great overall layout of the houses, and the bathroom was amazing. Daily housekeeping was a dream, and the people working at Villas Argan were lovely. The palm leaf roof and all the bamboo really added to the genuine vibe of the place. We were here to work, chill and surf, and it was perfect. We would recommend Villas Argan to anyone who’s looking to have a similar stay. I recommend having a car to be able to get into central Santa Teresa or Carmen and enjoy the dinner restaurants, since there are few nearby. We will definitely come back one day!

The villas are easy to get to check in process is easy. There is a fully stocked kitchen an good sized refrigerator. The A/C works well in the downstairs bedroom. The whole villa stays cool with fans.

The is not much privacy with the villa sharing the pool. You can see if the other villas windows and there are windows with no shades.

Villas Argan is a beautiful property located in Playa Hermosa. It is very quiet and calm at night but still close to all the bars and restaurants. Within two minutes walking distance you are at the beach where you can surf, run, meditate and enjoy the Costa Rican paradise. The villas re fully equipped and have a very nice shared pool. Nice place to disconnect and recharge.

At the beginning, we loved the facilities and the architecture being build so close to nature. The property is actually beautiful and has a great location.

However, the outsidy touch of the house is all fun and games, as long as you don't consider the wildlife. We had cockroaches (so many that they were even in our suitcases and surprised us back in Europe), geckos, worms, and even a scorpio (also the poo of these animals, especially geckos, was everywhere). There is daily cleaning, but a few hours (or minutes) after, it is dirty again by the animals pooing and running around.

It was a very beautifull place.

Location to the beach and unique set up

Only one room had AC, this is to be expected but it wasn’t ideal.

I loved everything about this place. It's beautiful in its simplicity. Easy to get to town via the bus route if you have cash, yet out of the way enough to maintain a peaceful and quiet environment. Hermosa Cobano beach nearby (5 minute walk) is the most beautiful I've ever seen. It's only a couple minutes walk from some excellent cafes and restaurants (Tp8, Red's Cafe, and the Couleur Cafe). There is a small grocery at the top of the hill, so you can cook in the fully stocked kitchenette if you want. Vanessa and Cecilio were wonderful. Vanessa cleans and makes the beds every day, and Cecilio helped us with our sliding door when it was being stubborn. Very comfortable for two travelers. We will be back for sure!

The only small issue we had was our doors being a little difficult to get closed all the way but, like I said, Cecilio was very helpful in getting that resolved super quickly.

The villas are really well configured and location is close to the beach, 4 minutes by walk. Atmosphere is relaxing and perfect to enjoy your holidays close to nature and natural environment. Wifi works pretty well.

Manager didn’t come during all our stay, but Vanessa, the cleaning lady, welcomed us, showed us the facilities and took care of us during our stay. She’s lovely.
