the location and the staff were friendly. i appreciate the tea and coffee making facilities and the bathtub was nice.

the shower had low pressure, there was a lot of noise from the plumbing at night time. there was a flashing light on the fire alarm, it was very hot and did not know how to turn off the heating. the bed was not very comfortable

Very nice and clean place...

The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town with everything close by. Our room (junior suite) was large and ideal for traveling with young children. A cot was provided and staff were helpful. Property clean and well provisioned. High ceilings and old glamour add a nice touch.

Some of the glamour is a bit faded, and we found the rooms hot - but opened the window in the bathroom on the second night which helped a lot. Overall a good stay and I’d certainly recommend it.

The stay was very confrtable and the personell was kind.

No air-conditioned. It was a disappointment in that area because it was a very hot night and with air-conditioned, it could have been much better. I hope they can fix it. I don't know about the other rooms but in mine, the air-conditioned didn't work.

Amazing location

Superb location in the centre of Genova: very modern apartment in a beautiful old building at minutes walking from bars, cafes', restaurants, historic centre and old port. The gentlemen who assisted us with the check in and out was very helpful and willing to assist. The place is definitely worth a 10 in terms of aesthetic, location and facilities in the apartment (i.e. automatic coffee machine with capsules, etc).

The aircon system was way too small to service the apartment and was not working properly: with over 30 degrees at night it was very hard to sleep due to the extreme heat. I give a "0" to the experience.

closest car park was shut by the police due to large pride march. reception did not believe us and we spent an hour looking for parking. unclear how to checkout. very difficult stairs if you have lots of luggage and watch out for steep slopes to walk up to the main square. reception did not understand English very well. Genoa was a knockout!

The staff received us and showed us the facilities, the location is easy to reach with nearby parking, and it's good for walking to the city centre

We booked a room for "3 guests max, with a maximum of 2 adults" which clearly allowed for a baby/child, and when we asked during booking for a crib it was confirmed, but then at the location we were told that the room was for only 2 adults and a crib wouldn't fit. We couldn't get actually warm water, and the state of the facilities in the bathroom was not good.

the shower did not drain, so only one of us could take a shower. the stair for the loft were very small an older person would not be able to use them.

You get for what you pay. Without high expectations it is ok

Being in the center of Genoa could be very noisy and the staff should have a basic understanding of English. For latin languages speakers it is alright, but a mono language American it could be very challenging communicate with the staff.

No elevator so it was rough dragging suitcases up. Also, couldn't figure out how to make the shower have warm water.

It was good value for money, considering the competition. The room was clean, and mostly all right. It is in the center...somehow. It is less spooky than anticipated, and really quiet.

The access is through some extremely narrow streets, which are very shady. The access to the room was through a labyrinth, rather than a hallway. And the bed was so old that it creaked and squeaked at every movement. We could barely sleep because if we moved 1cm it made an impossible noise. For 1 night of transit it was great, but I would have chosen something else for a longer stay.
