We were on a bike ride from Harrietville and stopped in Beechworth for the night. It was great it was so close to the pool as we were exhausted and it was very hot - so the pool was very welcome.

It was very hot, and the fans were ok in the bedrooms, but would have been good to have the airconditioning to cool the rooms for the night as well. Having said that - the bed was comfortable and we had a great stay!

The location was absolutely fantastic! Well appointed house, good spaces to utilise. We liked, too, the consideration of the bedding given the temperature of the season (-3 one night!).

The only two things we looked for at the time were a few more utensils, etc in the kitchen, and we also came armed with DVDs to watch, as we didn't expect a smart TV or any such connectivity. Always happy to watch and old-school DVD! DVD players a relatively cheap so I think popping one of those into the cozy lounge would be worthwhile!

The beds were comfortable. The proximity to the town of Beachworth was excellent. The place was old but quaint and clean.

The TV worked, Netflix did not work. The previous renters had a smoker that smoked in the home and it made me feel sick. The smoke smell is very different to a fireplace smell. Very very disappointing. The key was also left in the door not in the secured spot suggested. Being a country town I guess security is not really an issue. We wanted to park our car in the large driveway. However, could not open the gate to do so.

Lovely homely cottage. Perfect for our little family getaway. Well equipped kitchen and kids loved the addition of the toys to keep them entertained. Would stay again!

We loved the feel of the house. Although it is quite old, the inside and the back deck were wonderful. The location is great, right in town. It was also very reasonably priced.

It was a very cold house, but after using the heaters, it warmed up quite well. Thank goodness for the electric blankets! (bunk beds had no electric blanket)
