The house is fine.

The house is fine, but doesn't have the services to be a b&b. Internet is slow, cable is so basic in the house, and both --internet and cable, were down in the "apartments" they gave us in front of the house. The guy refused to change us to the area with services but had to give up next day and changed us to the main house, where we discovered the problem with the services. In addition, when you arrive, you become a host for the others comng after you because they do not have 24 hours staff. Finally, be ready to climb stairs for breakfast because dinning room and kitchen are in the second floor. Do NOT take your old ones there.

the atmosphere was fantastic, it is truly traditional house with national identity and authentic decorations. Our room was perfect, spacious and bright:)

it’s a little bit far from the city center and there is on the top of the hill. we are strong people but even for us it was like a challenge to come back to the casa after walking:)

Peaceful, easygoing staff, great layout, great view and for my preference, location was perfect - 30 min walk downhill into town

If you have difficulty with steep hills, walking to/from wouldn’t be doable so you’d have to use taxis (reasonable cost)

Casa Don Pasquale was one of the best stays we've had. When we arrived we were welcomed by Eric, who lets us choose which room we want. The place is beautiful, like a museum, with a a lot of common areas, a swimming pool (a bit cold but so was the weather...), a warm Jakuzzi (but you need to warm it upfront). There is a little garden, a library, such a dream, we can't get over it. To get from the house to the city center you need to walk 15 minutes down (and then up - with Taxi or Uber), or they order a Taxi for you. The city is beautiful, but the hotel was better - we spend some days NOT LEAVING IT, but relaxing... They even did my laundry for me at a small charge, and in some days where we were alone they gave us full freedom to use the kitchen, so we cooked for ourselves from products we bought in the market. Such a gorgeous place. Very recommended.

The internet never worked inside the room, or it was extremely slow, so when we wanted to stream or make zoom we needed to be in the living room. But honestly, I don't care...:)

When you arrive the manager will tell you, this is your home. This is perfectly true if your home is beautifully decorated, filled with art and antiques and a kind and gracious staff. Otherwise, you may feel you have discovered an oasis of natural beauty, peace and tranquility as you sit beside the pool and watch the birds circle and dip. Nicest place I’ve ever stayed, I can’t wait to go back.

Don Pascual was a wonderful experience.From the welcoming atmosphere to the wonderful staff, and very enjoyable pleasent authentic Inn. The views from the patios and the hot air balloons, to meeting new friends at breakfast, made it all the more quaint...

The building was beautiful. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. Leonardo had lots of options for us to consider for things to do in and outside of San Miguel de Allende and he made the arrangements for us.

There were some dogs in the neighborhood that woke us periodically with their barking. The coffee was disappointing. It tasted like American coffee and Americans are not known for having good coffee, but everywhere else we went in San Miguel de Allende the coffee was delicious.
