A nice relaxing place to stay

Location was perfect, just 20min walk from the old city! Plenty of facilities, Tatjana gave us some tips for transport and places to visit. The view from the balcony was stunning. I can’t fault much with the stay.

Super clean, comfortable room. Our balcony was spacious (even though we didn’t get to spend much time on it due to the rain). Equipped with some basics (hot water kettle, mini fridge, a couple mugs, wine glasses, utensils, and plates) for us to have light breakfast, snacks, and wine. Great views. It was about a 25 minute walk to old town and we also took the bus a couple times.

Everything was excellent. Very nice balcony, comfortable bed, good location, helpful owner and the cutest little dog :)

Our room was clean, tidy and comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming and kind. We particularly liked the shared terrace looking out to sea! The accommodation was easy to find as well, but a little tricky to park being next to a busy road.

The WiFi can improve.

Pros: Plenty of hot water, bed was comfy, room very clean, spacious room, plenty of towels, mini fridge, host very responsive.

View looked better in photos, Wi-Fi was terrible, no hotel facilities like bathroom pre or post checkin, no luggage storage. Not the best location for folks who can’t do lots of stairs (typical for Dubrovnik)

The owner is very considerate. She even noticed my wife's birthday. On my wife's birthday, she carefully prepared birthday cards, chocolates, wine, flowers, etc. for us. We were really touched. I highly recommend this homestay. It is clean, warm, and the location is very good. There is a bus station opposite, and it only takes 15 minutes to walk to the ancient city.

This guesthouse is amazing. We stayed for one week in one of the rooms with a terrace. There was really/coffee in the room and also a fridge is which was handy to put snacks in for breakfast. The terrace in the room was stunning and could see the sunset in the evening. The communal terrace is beautiful to sit out and see right over the city. It’s a really nice 20 minute walk down to the old town and 30 mins to Lapad and close to Mt Srd so great location. There is also a bus stop right across the road. Ubers we’re always around 6 euro total if coming back from the city. Tatjana picked us up from the airport, she was very accommodating and always a text away if we had any questions and super helpful. 100% recommend this accommodation in Dubrovnik.

The view from the room. the air freshness since it is a bit high. there is a bus stop infront of the place and going to the city is downhill for 20 minutes. will definitely come back

Everything was very clean. All we needed was there. Tatjana was super helpful and nice!

The room was very clean and we had our own private bathroom. My boyfriend and I have low back and neck issues, so we are always concerned about the bed... this place has a firmer bed, which is our preference, and it was very comfortable. We also had our own private terrace, which was lovely to enjoy a cup of coffee and some pastries from the local bakery in the mornings, while we overlooked the city and Adriatic Sea. I will say that if you have difficulty with stairs, this is not the place for you. There are many stairs to enter and exit the guesthouse and to walk to any local places. I will say that the bus stop is right across the street, so that it a good source of transportation to get to the Old City.

Beautiful property with wonderful views across Dubrovnik with a balcony to enjoy the sunset. The room was clean and spacious and very comfortable - and the host who greeted us on the first day was extremely helpful and accommodating. Our private bathroom was even cleaned for us while we were there. We would happily return here.

The walk back is very uphill so we ended up paying for the bus most days - but this was hardly a big problem at all!

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with the most stunning views you could wish for! We had our own terrace with a sea view & the view was just breath taking! Tatjana was a wonderful host! So welcoming & helped us with information through out the whole trip! Before we even arrived she sent us so much useful information which is just fantastic from a host. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property while in Dubrovnik. The host made our trip so much easier. She collected us from the airport, gave us a map and information on where to book things, the name and times of the local buses, the different things we could do, explained how we could book our transport to Split, and even took us to the bus station! She couldn’t have done any more for us, the loveliest lady. Our room was clean and spacious, with a kettle, tea, coffee and fridge. With plenty of storage and towels. The views from the room were beautiful and especially from the private balcony/terrace. To get to the old town is a 20 minute walk, this is all downhill and a nice walk. We did get the bus back up most times as there are a lot of steps!!

Very nice facility! Plenty of room and fantastic Air Conditioner :). Host was very welcoming. Used their private transport from the airport to the accommodation (as well back to the ariport after the stay) and we found it very good!

The views from the room on the top floor and the terrace are breathtaking. The facilities are good with kettle, fridge and balcony. It was really nice just sitting on the balcony watching the sunset. Tatijana was very thorough with instructions about how to get to the old town and come back. The owner was also nice and helpful.

There was an incident with the shower tap - The shower upstairs was missing one side of the door. The tap also gets very hot on the hot water side. Even though i was using cold water in the shower the tap was hot. Since there was a missing door, i was standing in the corner of the shower to make sure there is not too much water splashing outside on the bathroom floor. Thats when my skin touched the extremely hot tap and burned me. This unfortunately happened close to 10pm so all the pharmacies were closed by then and we had a few drinks so could not drive anyway. The owner unfortunately had nothing for the burn but brought me some olive oil which helped. They were not aware of this issue and said they will check the shower door and tap asap. I believe this was an honest oversight. Except this incident, i have nothing else to fault.

After a flight from Montreal to Paris and then a second flight from Paris to Dubrovnik, we knew we would be very tired. Tatjana from Sobe na Konalu offered to pick us up at the airport for a reasonable charge. She was super nice in telling us about the best places to visit in and around the city, good places to withdraw money and buy food. Our room at the guesthouse was super clean, comfortable and quiet. Sobe na Konalu is outside the old city; just far enough from its summer month crowds. There is a terrace from which you can see the Adriatic about a kilometre away. A refrigerator, plates and utensils made it easy for us to prepare quick uncooked meals. Walking down to the old city is fairly easy (20 to 30 minutes). Walking back up to Sobe na Konalu is more demanding and we don’t recommend doing it unless you are in good physical shape. Take the no. 3 bus instead (just outside the old city main gate) and get off at the bus stop just opposite the guesthouse (2-minute walk). We don’t like going out to restaurants for all our meals. We sometimes prefer to buy prepared dishes at grocery stores (cheaper, delicious and bigger in quantity). Large grocery stores selling prepared dishes are located on the main street going towards the ferry terminal and main bus station. At the large Tommy grocery store we bought oven cooked chicken and prepared salads (just as good if not better than what we ate at restaurants in the old city).

super convenient location to get the bus home from old town and from the main bus station. Our host was super friendly and gave us all the info we needed to catch the bus around and how to walk into the main areas. Room was spacious and comfy.
