Een geweldig mooi en authentiek gerenoveerde kapel. Gezellig en sfeervol ingericht. Mooie ruime slaapkamers. Goede ligging tov centrum.
De toegang met een code was erg gemakkelijk en de host vriendelijk en telefonisch goed bereikbaar.
De kamer beneden rook wat muf, waarschijnlijk door vochtproblemen. Er zijn geen mogelijkheden om goed door te luchten. Het is ons ook niet gelukt om de verwarming in de woonkamer aan te krijgen, waardoor het vrij koud was. Helaas waren de parkeerplaatsen bij de tegenover liggende kerk allemaal bezet, waardoor wij verderop op een plein hebben moeten parkeren. Maar dit was voor ons verder geen probleem.
Ondanks deze punten hebben wij heel erg genoten
en zullen de gite zeker bij familie en vrienden aanbevelen.

Location was great. Renovated church was very cool. Beds were very comfortable. Coffee provided was welcomed. Hostess very responsive. Would recommend with some caveats as listed below.
Bathroom upstairs -baseboards could use replacing. No soap provided for showering was not a great find at the end of the day. Internet very sluggish upstairs. Could use a network patch to increase speed.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentral in Verdun in einer ehemaligen Kirche. Die Vermieter haben auf eine sehr geschickte Weise eine gemütliche, moderne Ferienwohnung eingerichtet und trotzdem das Flair der alten Kirche erhalten. Obwohl es nur Buntglasfenster gibt, ist es im Gebäude sehr hell durch eine Glasfront über mehrere Etagen zum Eingangsbereich hin. Beide Zimmer hatten je ein eigenes, modernes Badezimmer. Die kleine Küche war vollständig ausgestattet. Parken kann man auf dem Parkplatz der gegenüberliegenden Kirche.
Wir waren nur eine Nacht für die Durchreise da und waren sehr zufrieden.

Diese Immobilie ist außergewönlich und die Gastgeberin wahnsinnig nett. Auch meine Kinder waren ganz angetan, die sich normalerweise nicht für Architektur und Design interessieren.

This property is simply amazing and breathtaking. Super cool layout and restoration of an old chapel into an apartment out of the ordinary. Our first impression was this could not be true, we must have been entering the wrong door. Next time we will definitely stay for several days to explore Verdon in depth.
Can be a bit warm during summer. One more fan would have been perfect

Central location, car parking easy, bijou little apartment, tasteful decor. Host was delightful. Boulanger a short walk. Would definitely stay here again.
It was very hot but not the host’s fault and a fan was provided.

This place is amazing. From our very first glimpse, we were in awe. Such a beautifully and sympathetically renovated building. I really wish we had booked more than one night.

This is a slice of historic heaven in Verdun; the 3 levels allowed for plenty of space, light, and comfort - the stained glass windows and stone walls made it exceptional. Beds were comfortable, location was central and within walking distance to restaurants and the center of town. The hostess, Catherine, was wonderfully friendly and accommodating.
We came off of a night flight from the US and it was Sunday afternoon when we arrived at the property. We should have planned better and picked up drinks and snacks along the way: all the shops were closed in town :(

This is a beautifully and tastefully and thoughtfully restored property. It truly is one of a kind, a special experience. very creative and relaxing space to spend time in.

The temple conversion is very unusual and pleasant. It is conveniently located, easy to park. The main living area, kitchen, bathrooms and main bedroom (double bed) were clean and well-appointed. Having a diswasher was a bonus.
The second bedroom (twin room on the ground floor) smelt damp. The bed linen and pillows had a very unpleasant musty smell. It was not enjoyable to sleep in this room or in the bed. This is the main reason for the low rating.
The radiators in both bathrooms were not working and it was not possible to keep towels dry.

Being lodged in a former church is very suggestive and a unique experience.
Sheets were not provided, but rather a comforter which was too hot for when we used it and when did not we got cold. Seeing the spring season, an intermediate option would have been best. Also, the kitchen utensils were old and a bit limited for my family who wished to prepare a cooked meal in the evenings.

Despite the COVID 19 pandemic, we passed an excellent hunting weekend in Verdun. Very well equipped appartement in the city center. We will come again !

Excellent location, free parking opposite. Really interesting building and plenty of space. Apartment was very clean and very very quiet. They also accept dogs.
Pillows were extremely uncomfortable. Not much space in the kitchen area.

Super location, with everything in Verdun accessible by foot. Car parking directly in front of the building. Perfect layout of the apartment for four persons.
Some refurbishments in the interior of the apartment are due.
