The staff at this location were amazing helpful kind and always smiling. They went above and beyond. I was in a room over the function room room 203, the party went on till 12 it was like being in a disco a teenage event both Friday and Saturday . I was fuming as I had just lost my mother and wanted a quiet night, the window nearly fell out ( it’s an old beautiful building) but the staff were so accommodating, the beds so comfy, the afternoon tea divine and the spa and treatments luxurious thank you to all the staff or u would not have paid. Well done lovely workers

The room could have been revamped. Paint peeling from the bathroom, shower head wasn’t that clean, orange grout, stains all over the carpet

Property is very well located, can be anywhere in Bristol (by walking or cab) in only a few minutes. The hotel is very clean and the staff are as helpful as one would expect.

Upon check-in we learned: - Our room wouldn’t have A/C (summer night, we were expecting A/C but not the end of the world) and we couldn’t be moved - The pool has been closed for years, we’d hoped to swim as we saw a pool on the photos from website - The lobby bar was out of several key ingredients (couldn’t make us a coffee, or Bloody Mary, and all beer taps were shut off after first round for cleaning - we visited Sunday mid-afternoon, not an unreasonable hour to expect these things) Overall the stay was fine but 350£ for the weekend I have to say the small things added up and felt disappointing.
