I really wasn't sure how to rate the place. The location is PERFECT and that's what you pay for. Its also relatively clean for a place like this. AC works well Wifi is good but intermittent

The staff, basically Edith, is just a rude woman. It's a really weird place in the sense it's not a hotel or hostel, you kind of just get given a key and then you're on your own. The toilets constantly ran out of toilet paper which just is frustrating. She rarely replied to messages so had no idea when / if it would be replaced but it was eventually. The bed sheet for my bed didn't fit, so every day I'd wake up with all the corners off and just basically directly on the mattress. The pillow was the biggest joke I'd ever seen, I've genuinely never seen something like that classified as functional. It felt like 50 rolled up used tissues inside a pillow case. Never experienced anything like it. The noise insulation internally is awful so you can hear everyone. Surprisingly the road / town was actually alright for such a central location but if you had other guests staying it was difficult. The key broke in the lock and she grumpily made us pay but it was just the way she did it. To break a key in a lock isn't easy until there's been years of wear and tear, it shouldn't just snap. We agreed a 1pm check in, which she had to approve on booking.com and I showed her, but she aggressively told us no and made us leave suddenly at 12.30. Even when arriving it took 10 minutes after she spoke to us from the balcony to come and actually open the door, and her whole demeanour whenever we interacted was just of someone who doesn't want to host people but begrudgingly does it. OH AND BIZARRELY there's one cruise ship style window with street lights directly outside but nothing to block it. We luckily crafted something with celetape and paper...
