A firmer bed.

A wonderful warm welcome from David! Issey Manor is a real find in New Plymouth, close to the city centre and the room was comfortable with amazing decor (we stayed in Kiwiana and loved spotting all the various kiwiana items!). There's parking out front which is limited, but David did a great job of making sure everyone could park.

Location was excellent. Great breakfast over and beyond what other places offer

Only had tea. I would recommend Breakfast stays open till 10am as it was the weekend and also music festival late nights meant late mornings!

Parking. The guy with the white ute and smashed windows boxed me in. I wanted to drop friends back at there accom at 11pm and wasnt going to wake the household to have him move. Rude that they parked behind me.

Very relaxed and simple to check in and come and go. Host was low key and welcoming. Room was comfortable, very cosy and we enjoyed the nostalgic touches of the 'kiwiana' theme. Great breakfast and a very clean kitchen.

The place is lovely - so much more interesting than a hotel, and more spacious than we expected. Jacuzzi was great too. If we go back to visit again we'll definitely stay in the same place. Breakfast is self-serve in the kitchen, but very handy

it is comfortable and clean, near to the town centre. walk to the most restaurants, beautiful garden. it has limited parking space, but it is not an issue for us.
