Rooms were really good. Staff were super friendly and Emmanuel in particular made us feel at home and comfortable. Big thank you to you and your team Emmanuel.

Nice bed and very comfortable. Very good breakfast. A very lovely old building with lots of character, which is why there are some inadequacies.

Bathroom exceptionally small and tight fit. Breakfast order messed up, but changed on pointing out the error. Better signage required at the entrance as road is unmade and easily missed on a dark and dreary night.

The location was wonderful, the weather was not! Need to visit again

We had an incredible dinner, a wonderful welcome and a peaceful night sleep. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast was beautiful and we'd love to visit again!

We did arrive on my mums birthday and I'd asked if I could have the room decorated. The gentleman on the phone said he'd arrange for prosecco to be in the room and a free dessert for my mum. Id offered to pay on the phone however i was told it was on the house, so i was really excited for my mums reaction. Unfortunately nothing had been arranged, but never the less we still had a lovely time

Breakfast was very nice but it wasn't clear what was included. We expected to be offered juices, toast etc but it seemed that you had to order everything separately.

There's nothing I didn't really like but went to have an evening meal in the pub downstairs but didn't because of the prices , wasn't going to pay £20 for fish and chips

Very cute old lodge. Staff were great and were happy to give local tips which we followed through on and were some of the highlights of our stay in the area. Breakfast was awesome.

Wish the fireplaces were lit as it seemed pretty cold

A very convenient, pleasantly situated, and comfortable stay at the Old Lodge. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the staff genuinely friendly, engaging, and helpful. The beds were comfortable and warm, and the furnishings very pretty.

The rooms are a little on the small side, and both the cold and hot water were a little temperamental.
